Laurenna

I’m sick as hell right now in bed looking for something to binge watch while I rest and recover. This is like a blessing from the heavens above, thank you bob

Taylor

I AM SEATED AND READY TO WATCH THIS ABSOLUTE CINEMA

66malthe

You're all welcome for calling him out. ;) Excited to watch this. Edit: Finished it. Glad you enjoyed, despite the rocky start. If you wanna see more of Zach Hill's drumming in action on your own time, I suggest looking up a performance of him playing 'Been A Long Time Cousin' in his band Hella, should be the first result on YouTube. He's insane, it's a lot of fun and a looot of amazing improv.

i was legit thinking about your death grips reactions and wanting to see you react to this yesterday...

Blake

Björk is an ABSOLUTE essential listen in any music journey even if you don’t make any videos. Although, if you ever do a video I highly suggest Vespertine or Homogenic. Incredible musician

Jettpalmer

Since there is no jpeg delux reaction, i suggest Ghais Guevara, "Goyard Ibn Said". One of the best left field rap albums in the past few years. Has McKinley Dixon and Elucid on it. Mostly self produced. Just pure hip hop. Also thank you for this

topsa

Hopefully we can get a Björk reaction one day, she is so heavily featured on here and it would be nice to get a full reaction :)

brayloom

I’m the same way, only can handle a little bit of death grips every week but once every couple months my ears need that insane sound fix lol

eich

We’re back

Liam McNerney

3 hours. were eating good

bryan pineda

we gotta see that geordie greep new sound reaction!

Noxerius

on my knees now begging for more nas pls

Klempa J

I was literally rewatching your DG reactions yesterday and got sad when you said that you were gonna react to Powers that B in less than a year and it's been like year and a half. And suddenly the next day it's here lmao.

TSK TSK TSK MY TERRACOTTA ARMY

SO happy youre finally doing my favorite DG project. this album was a nearly nightly listen for me on summer home from college. theres nothing else to this day that sounds like the first disc, insane sampling and the lyrics as very esoteric and even more dissconnected from reality than their "normal" stuff

Yarden

Bob I am absolutely begging you to listen to Bjork, particularly Verspertine. Some of the most gorgeous music Ive ever heard.

coopcoop

ive never been so happy to see a bob video

Flwr

some notes about this double album and DGs career at this point: 1. Disc 1 was released about a year before Disc 2. Zach is on the electronic drum kit playing Bjork samples for the instrumentals. It basically plays as Rides solo album in their discography, 2. They broke up after the release of disc 1 and announced that Jenny Death would be their last album. They stayed together afterward, obviously. Zach once again is playing the drums throughout disc 2 and kills every "rock" track. Up My Sleeves (the beginning of the experience) and On GP (the end of the experience) both allude to Rides suicidal tendencies, which oddly enough isn't something he does much in his lyrics. The track "Death Grips 2.0" was the first indicator fans got they werent actually breaking up, but taking Death Grips to new heights, or lows (Bottomless Pit was their next album).

Ryan Manuel

Bob we need a purple rain reaction

coopcoop

you really should listen to Bjork too, Vespertine is the most beautiful album ever made and it is a masterpiece all the way through

VibeWithDal

Bob did you give a second listen and catch that Billy Not Really and Big Dipper share the same sample? I see you recognized the sample in real time.

Max

you should do lahai by sampha

Tuxedo Gorilla

R.I.P Death Grips:( They just disbanded today. Granted, they’ve done it before, but I think this time it’s for real.

Siobhan Express

Listen Bob, all jokes aside, you know this is the Pinnacle of music right? It doesn't get better. Never had, never will. Death Grips Forever...

Jonas Venneker

Bob, I am once again asking you to react to Björk’s discography chronologically (in particular the first 4 records). With your love for Aphex Twin and Fiona Apple she perfectly fits in your wheelhouse.

shwamalama bamalama

Hoping for denzel curry imperial sometime in the near future, his best by far

Nasuh Esat Kacmaz

literally subscribed just to see this in full, love you bob

Evilknightz

The NOTM half of this album is my favorite Death Grips. Fucking love how deranged it is. Feels like the musical version of Beau is Afraid.

Oliv book

rip (hopefully zach gets back with chino moreno, and does more team sleep shit)
