hello everyone, I'm working on improving stability, uncached full files will take a while to load and imports are a bit backlogged both due to bandwidth. Thank you.

I just finished my 'Late Registration' recording and have started uploading it to YouTube. It just occurred to me that you guys should probably see it first, right? As in, I upload to Vimeo first, link it here, then YouTube.

Leave a comment if you agree. It makes sense to me.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to upload the full version here immediately. My Vimeo is capped at 20gb a week, and that file is 13.3gb. After uploading some of the other videos last night, I only have about 6gb left. That's on me, guys. Sorry.

I'll still post everything to YouTube as I've been doing.

Being as you're still figuring out a process and a schedule, I say go ahead and post the YT vid. Keep the positive momentum going, grow your channel, worry about the Patreon stuff later. Future state--Patreon then YT seems to be the standard. If you're doing 1-2 vids per week it would seem natural to post uncut here after recording + promote on YT. Then post to YT after you're finished editing, which I imagine is a lengthy process. In the meantime while you get into that schedule, I wouldn't deliberately hold any videos. The people here aren't going to unsub because the very first video on your Patreon came out after the YT vid, we're here because we like the content :)

I think Max put it perfectly. Hopefully you can work out the Vimeo 20gig limit, I’d hate for a little thing like that to mess with the flow you’ve got going here.

Adding on to that, maybe there’s a way for you to make the files sizes smaller? 13.3 gigs seems unusually big even for a really long reaction. Maybe someone here can give some advice on lowering the file size.

Yeah, I should look into that. Smaller files will be a life saver going forward, but I want to keep as much quality as possible.

I think both should be at the same time. Even tho the patreon is growing rapidly, I think the vast majority of your traffic comes from Youtube recommendations (that's how I found you) so that should still be the priority for now.
