Thank you for everything Bob!!! No-vember is off to a great start :) Path cameo caught me so off guard that I had to stop the video and make a comment bahaha, that was so sick!! So hype to hear your thoughts on Sat1

Liam O'Brien

Scall123

Oh it gets better

CRASH

Sat 2 next month right? Right?

CRASH

BTW bob I recommend watching the music videos. It will really help with attaching faces and names to voices.

Psykopomp

bob based on these last few weeks i know you would LOVE Mean Girls. worth a watch.

please please please try to knock out the next two SATURATIONS some time soon! SAT 2 is one of my favorite albums ever, and SAT 3 is absolutely amazing as well, and serves as a perfect conclusion to the trilogy. all 3 SATURATIONs released over the span of the 2017 Summer, and that was honestly my musical peak. i vividly remember waiting for the singles and music videos for the next albums that Summer. the hooks on all 3 records are so fucking sticky, some of the best, catchiest hooks ever, in my opinion, and each album ends with a beautiful ballad by Bearface, which perfectly wraps up the albums. hopefully you can get to them, and through future listens, you can start to attach names to verses and hooks, it definitely is a bit overwhelming at first to catch who's who. sadly, after SAT 3, the group decided to remove Ameer over several sexual abuse allegations, along with allegations from Dom about some serious abuse that he endured at the hands of Ameer. the rest of their albums are great as well, but none of them connect with me as the SATURATION trilogy. not to say they are worse, but that Summer of '17 was an amazing time to follow the band, and i don't thing we'll see anything like it for a long time.

Eric Arney

Waited for this one for a while! I knew you would be into the Sat Trilogy. As a rock/metal head myself, this group really scratched an itch for me. Can't wait for the next 2. They just keep on getting better imo. 🤘

Yarden

Bob jesus man this album came out back in 2017 when I was 17 and holy shit listening to this again is just taking me back. Whatever you do, always remember that saturation i, ii, and iii, all came out in the same year. They were 3 for 3. These albums are very personal to me and a lot of people who grew up with brockhampton. Glad youre getting around to them

Gabriel Davis

now you gotta do the others lets gooooo!

Whya

I had a feeling you’d love Dom! Can’t wait for you to get through the rest of their discography. Sat 2 + 3 are so key for the saturation experience and Iridescence has some of my fav tracks by them.

420

yeah, i kinda found them through some friends in the summer of 2018. I finished the trilogy in about a week and was probably one of the best musical experiences I had with some exceptions like abel's trilogy, which is an entirely different story.

Isaac Robichau

Fun piece of BROCKHAMPTON trivia, the core members all met on a kanye subreddit from a post saying "anyone want to start a band?". A lot of them are from texas and all moved out to california once they started the group.

Litty Again

yo im dying at ur reaction to “I just game my nigga head” 💀💀💀

Oscar Schmidt

that outro on HEAT always gives me the craziest goosebumps

Lil Mac

Yeah this was awesome, one of my favorite albums, brockhampton was a group that really helped get me through High School (most of their discography came out in my 4 years there) I think everyone is gonna say you have to complete the trilogy and i absolutely agree, but id also love to see a reaction to iridescence, ginger, roadrunner and of course their upcoming final album, it sounds like a lot but their sound constantly evolves and i personally think iridescence and roadrunner have some of their greatest songs to date (ginger is a fan favorite but not for me personally, still worth a listen ofc)

The Gr8 Scott

1000% The music videos are so good especially off this first album. Really cemented the faces and personalities and helps with the nuances of voices.

CRASH

I have a feeling bob would love RR the most. Lots of personal details which is something he always eats up.

I wasn’t expecting you to review Brockhampton, it was awesome, cool collab too

Nathan Judy

Definitly think Bob should watch the MVs, if only to put faces to the voices, which, at least for me, really helps in figuring out who's voice is who's.

Tevin Keo

U better react to their whole discography now 😭😭

Scott Watrous

The year these came out was a riot. All the music videos with their themes and colors... It was hype after hype after hype. If you wanna talk about nailing it, the boys certainly got as close as you can come. I always felt each project was a little TOO scatter shot individually but as a whole the musical range and variety is awesome

Oscar Schmidt

you should do some more earl sweatshirt soon

Jay

i love brock seen them live once for iridescence was gonna go again but then they canceled the tour. definitely one of my favorite groups, these first 3 albums coming out in the same year was wildd, and idk being from texas also hit dif

Nathan Backus

Hi - I am a new Patron and loved your reaction to Blonde. I would love to see you react to the album Idol Blue by Johnny Rain. Incredible album I think you would enjoy if you enjoyed blonde. Thank you!
