Lance Boldman

Sheck Wes made stick what it was I fucking adore his performance

King Capital

No Joey Badass still is criminal but it’s ok there’s a time for everything

Marquis keel

Diplomatic immunity might be drakes greatest rapping track imo

ryan cortes

Oh man you never heard any other drake song before lol I can name 10 better easy but 9 am in Dallas and bridle path are both way better

cameron mackinnon

Wow the chat was disrespecting Cold tf 😂 I mean they were disrespecting near everything, I’ve never been in a stream before so am I missing something?

King Capital

And also Tech n9ne is disliked because he falls into the category of a rap style where the flow is fast, but you’re not getting a lot of what he’s saying. The flow is impressive but the majority doesn’t really gravitate to it. Eminem, Joyner Lucas, Tech N9ne, Logic all fall in the category

Litty Again

Tech n9ne isnt as bad as the rap style he inspired which is the “lyrical miracle” rap where the substance and any interesting flow/sound is substituted by trying to rap as fast as possible without actually saying anything lmao. They’re even more hated because they usually come at “mumble” rappers for ironically “not saying anything in their songs”

Tony Doyle

STICK is super dope LIVE! Also... It is interesting to note that Tech N9ne is in the Top 10 of nearly every famous rapper- from Lil Wayne to Jay Z, Eminem to 2 Chains and Pop Smoke, Lil Uzi Vert & Durk.... The fan hate is just crazy in your discord, lol

Jay Ikari

Bob has really turned into a backpack old head defending tech n9ne 😂

Matt

Bob is right about this Tech N9ne track, for him I feel this is a really good song. The beat was good, flow was good (but not just fast) and he actually had good lyrics and a subject. Ironically as Bob's audience showed that they were shitting on him and pretending like he wasn't worth any praise and like he hadn't achieve a high level of success and the whole song actually dealt with that. Ironically a ton of their favourite rappers put him up there. I've listened to a lot of him in the past and the hate is kind of understandable. Tech often fall into this category of fans feeling like fast = good but when you actually break it down it's not necessary actually saying anything. Bob, think of it sort of like progressive metal or math rock, sure it's impressive technically but most would rather listen to much more conventional metal and rock for the most part. Tech's projects will often have some good songs but its often bloated because similar to what you were experiencing with Pink Tape, most of songs are basically the same with a new lick of paint and becomes kind of tiring hearing bout don't fuck with me, im the best etc with the feeling his sort of "lyrical miracle individual" rhyming (basically just filling out bars with what rhymes than rather anything to say) if you get that ref. I think they were ultimately shitting on him more than they would because it was up against that Mac Miller song lol

Kevin Lauture

Yooo we need that DiCaprio 2 - JID review and The Off-season - J. Cole review, both are too fire

Kevin Lauture

Johnny’s P Caddy single review!!!

Demo

Who recommended Diplomatic Immunity as a singles track? it's a decent cool track but nothing grandiose about the production, Drake had the same lazy flow throughout and the lyrics were like a 6 out of 10. I am a huge Drake fan and I have listened to that song maybe twice since it came out. Please listen to All of the Drake "time stamp" songs. I think they will be very helpful if you are still willing to explore Drake's catalog.

Demo

Also the clear winner here was Hood Blues, glad it won. We paid was also a HUGE moment when it came out.

Mr. Bigweld

Yea that is one of tech n9nes better songs I don’t like tech N9ne tho

Henry

Always happy to see more Mac miller reactions, thanks to everyone who recommended it

VeganMilk

https://youtu.be/2ANn7iqd-Io This is what I think of when I hear Tech N9ne. 😂

Anthony Almandeto

I just want to say the Mac Miller track made me make an entire playlist.

bobthepoppop

Fair enough. I don't know his discog at all, so I can't speak to anything he's done. I was cool with this song though.

Stormas

Love the single reaction competition!!! Would love a patreon question for a reaction single !! Love you bob !!!

Remy DeSi

Chat calling Tech N9ne “maga music” is hilarious 😂😭

La’Que Newby

Glad you enjoyed the Griselda guys on Hood Blues. We NEED a reaction to a Griselda affiliated project. Some good albums to start with are: Tana Talk 3(Benny), Flygod(Westside), Reject 2(Conway), and WWCD(all of them)

Dylan Woods

Please do Carter 2 in August or September. :3

user_TRQ

please please PLEASE react to Modal Soul by Nujabes

Psykopomp

happy you got to hear more Mac <3

Lane McDonald

Can’t wait to see more Griselda reactions🦂⚖️

Myiic

Can't wait for whatever Greselda project you end up doing, they don't miss often

tradez401

the problem most ppl have with tech n9ne is hes raps a whole lotta nothing just putting words together with a fire rapid flow. if you heard 1 tech song you heard em all. hes in that yelawolf, hopsin, joyner lucas and 2010-until now eminem corny rappers with fast flows.

Jared

That's because mumble rappers don't say anything in their songs. Fans of them literally have to tell Bob "Oh yeah, uh, don't look at the lyrics they aren't saying a whole lot. Just listen to the vibe." 😂 and it actually is a cool vibe. Just sayin. But Kendrick, Cole, Nas, Jay, etc. Literally every rapper in history who respects the art of hip hop and cares about its direction and the competitive spirit of it have lyrics criticizing rappers who say nothing. Not just "fast rappers." why not hate on all those guys?

Jared

I think he did that one in a singles stream a while back, but he was drunk. Lol

Jared

I would just like to say those are my 3 favorite as well. Pray4Paris and God Don't make mistakes were good too, but I prefer these.

J Dot

The tech n9ne hate is insane. If you have heard one song you have not heard them all. That’s an insane concept for someone who has been rapping since 1991. He has gotten a bit worse with time (probably due to all the drug use) and his prime was in the past (2001-2010). But Anghelic, Absolute Power and Everready are a string of 8/10 albums that really show off his versatility and range of topics that he raps about.

Tyler Johnson

The Tech N9ne hate is egregious. You should piss everybody off and do album reactions for Everready or Absolute Power. They are solid albums. I’m not a massive Tech fan or anything but he makes pretty good music. His problem is he makes too much music so there’s a good amount of filler but the hits really hit imo

james moore

What did Drake do to get this hate?

james moore

Thats cap. Tech has alot of depth in his music and way more unique than those artists. They just hate anything that require skill to hear

Tuny kun

God, I love Griselda. God Don't Make Mistakes from Conway the Machine is right up there with Melt My Eyes See Your Future for 2022 albums.

Wasp Genocide

The chat is so cringe, I swear. Whining whenever Bob picks something they dislike. Jeez.

VeganMilk

All Twitch chats are like that. I’ve never seen a Twitch stream where the chat wasn’t insufferable.
