Eric Kripke, the creator also created Supernatural. He came up with the first five seasons which were extremely dark (in comparison to later seasons after he handed the show off to other show runners). The series finale of Supernatural was intense and…a lot to handle. Eric Kripke said if he’d had been still running the show, the ending would have been much darker, so take it from me, as having watched Supernatural for 15 years, that would have been extremely bad. Point is, I’d expect anything to happen with how the boys end, Billy going bad could be the least of how dark it could get. Also, Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Dean Winchesters (soldier boy) dad in Supernatural
