Oh. my. god. What was purely shock while watching this first time was tears while editing man. This is absolutely insane. I could not prevent it. Lestat admitting he broke Louis. Claudia cursing them. The finale really broke us down. We'll have that in the next couple days but god damn this episode!

Oh, we are starting to see Louis "odyssey of recollection" when it comes to his story with Lestat... The show is very clever on this because they tell us this story from Louis point of view and so when he says "Lestat haunted him" and "he didn't let him mourn his brother etc" we believe him instantly. But then Lestat tells us his point of view and because we have this idea of Louis being the victim of Lestat and Lestat being toxic (which he is, both are) we instantly think Lestat is lying. This is why this show is so good... I can't fucking wait for season 3 to see Lestat's point of view of everything. 🤣

Such a great episode. I see you guys have already watched the finale, so now seems a good time to say that if you are going to do the movie, you might need some context from the movie/book fans. But if you want to go in completely blind, that is valid, you just might be a little confused. The show and the movie each take a lot from the books, but not always the same things. If you want (as close as possible) nonspoiler context, maybe ask in the discord or something.
