I saw this in theaters with my sister and it was the closest I've ever come to walking out of a movie and asking for money back But anxiety, so I just sat and suffered through it like everyone else 😆

whats crazy is not only is it sooo white washed but the only brown people is the fire nation.... but Yue is the best part of this live action and i forever stand by it. This movie is trash, the live action show is like Ember Island players

Yeah, you called it, it feels like a bad fan fic movie. It's like he saw an episode with his kids and thought he could just make the movie. Sooooooo many of his choices were just bad. But then again, it is the same guy that did Signs and The Happening. And Jasper-SOHka kills me (after seeing him in Twilight, I can't see him in anything else, lol).

I got so mad at my sister because she went to see this movie without me when it came out. Then she told me how bad it was so I have yet to see it. Watching you guys react is going to be my first experience with this movie because I need to share this experience with someone so thank you!

The writer-director thought that it would be culturally accurate to use how the name was found in the culture then to stick with Mike and Brian, the creator. This is funny and they whitewash most of the cast

It's hilariously ironic that they would do that with the names, but white wash the cast. but it's an unfortunate crux, they used correct dialect accurate pronunciation and fucked up SO MUCH other things about the franchise, and just the acting and directing in general that this movie became SO hated, they'll NEVER be able to use culturally accurate pronunciations of any of the names because it will remind people of this movie. They whitelocked the names. lmao
