OMG it lived up to the hype! WEAPONS, SINNERS, BRING HER BACK... 2025 is PEAK for horror! Editing this for YouTube ASAP. I had hoped to get more ATTACK ON TITAN today or tomorrow but we're currently without a babysitter for a few days so with Daemon as you know its hard. I hope to get a couple AoT videos done by Monday or so tho 😭 but PEACEMAKER tonight/tomorrow , and next week will be A HAUNTED HOUSE and finally SINNERS! <3 oh and THE PENGUIN on YouTube but yall already got that here 😂

It’s so funny everyone assumes Naruto running. The script specifically names the photo of the napalm girl from Vietnam. That idea of moving/ running with deliberate intention. I’m also obsessed with readings of this story. It’s about addiction. It’s about child abuse. It’s about police brutality. It’s about systemic blindness and oppression. It’s about parasites. It’s about school shootings. It’s about witchcraft. It’s about the dangers we invite into our homes and then threaten all we hold dear. Fuck me I love this movie.

Ah, I went and saw this in theatres (my first time in a cinema in a while) and I thought it disappointed. I feel like they didn't capitalize enough on the unique horror elements and the end wasn't satisfying at all. People in my theatre were laughing and that's just the last way you want to leave a horror film. And the overlapping story-telling, the character vignettes, were an interesting approach but it sort of resulted in a soft launch of the "reveal" which took away a lot of its power. Plus, I got the impression it was trying to say something more profound metaphorically...I mean, it was called "weapon" and there was that random dream with the ak47 in the sky...but that never went anywhere. It just felt like a film that was edited in post around a plot or story that they no longer wanted to include. Anyway, to each their own for sure. I'm glad you guys liked it. It was just disappointing to me. I have high hopes for The Long Walk and even the Conjuring 5 so hopefully we still have some good horror coming up this year. :)

Idk if you guys heard about the alternative ending Zach cregger talk about. It would’ve been dope but also complicated to film. Apparently the teacher and Alex would recruit ppl to fight the aunt and the kids. Basically good defeating evil

The entire sequence at around 30 minutes had me forget to breathe, then had my adrenaline shoot through the roof. Then the car door opened out of frame and I tried to crawl backwards through the wall.

What else to watch: if you enjoy how storylines are introduced and interwoven in this movie -- Magnolia (1999) is a must watch. My only caution is that the runtime is 3h 4m. Worth it though. Magnolia (1999). Please let me know if you've seen it already!

I've seen many epic movie endings but the ending to weapons was one of the best conclusions and the most satisfying after everything Gladys did to Alex. Overall it was a amazing movie the POV's of the characters leading up was excellent. From Barbarian to Weapons I can't wait for Zach Cregger's next movie.

This movie might be playing on how children act during and after trauma of school shootings.. because why is there a gun visual in the sky? Also the line that only some of the kids started speaking again…life goes on and counselors that’s what they do when school shootings happens

The director said he just liked it being there because it’s open to interpretation. Which feels like a lame excuse to me considering how the rest of the movie plays out. Think he did it more for the “it looks cool” (it doesn’t) rather than actual story telling

Gladys getting ripped apart at the end reminds me so much of the Attack on Titan Season 2 Finale when Eren commands the titans to kill the titan that ate his mother. In both scenes, the head is pulled apart at the mouth... so brutal.
