The tragic thing about Ymir is that she was probably both a bit of what Marley claims and a bit of what the restorationists claimed too. She wasn't completely good or completely evil. She was just a girl, an abused and confused girl at the end of the day who gained incredible power and couldn't stop in the end even if she wanted to. It WAS Eldians who captured Ymir in the beginning. Ymir is known as an Eldian, even though she really wasn't. But yeah. The initial people who captured her was Eldia.

i always hate it when the reactors way "erens going to far there has to be another way" same as hange, armin etc but basically everyone doesnt name 1 alternative, but hey at least your consciense if fine right? no offense guys but i highly doubt if it was your family, your friends, all people you know, everyone of your country on the line and in danger of beeing either used as slave and put into concentration camps or be killed right away i highly doubt you would then hesiate to use that to save all of your people. But its easy to say when its not your environemnt that is on the line and also easy when its not you who have lived through a livetime of seeing your freinds beeing eaten alive. When you see friends and comrades beeing eaten alive then i think you would not put your people in danger of beeing exterminated or enslaved to save the people that want to kill you. And yes i know there are also children out there but they are part of the countries that are at war with eldia and represented by the politicians and miliarists who want to exterminate eldia. So the death of these children is on their conscence since they made eren pull the trigger, its absolutely proven he didnt want to do this because of conquering someone or getting revenge, but just saving his people.
