So-i was still not a good person. She was torturing people in the beginning of the season. It's funny how you guys want her to be with Yul this whole time. 😂 She is the opposite of his character, who is pure and good, and he never stopped thinking about Naksu. I think So-i did get some kind of redemption before she died though. She tried to save Yul by going to Lady Jin. I don't feel that bad she didn't make it. She did try to have MuDeoki killed too. Wait...she did kill her! She lied to Lady Jin and then Jin killed her last season!

As for So-i, I don't know. I've always felt you were putting too much weight to her character, saying she would end up with Yul for sure. Whether that expectation came from the K-Drama tropes you've become accustomed to, or her character made such an impact on you, I am not sure. But the way I've seen, So-i has never been more than a mere plot device to enhance Jin Mu's evil scheme and also to put Yul and Naksu in danger. So I thought it was enough redemption she had here. Just like you said once, she has done so many bad things already and it'd be asking too much for her to have a happy ending (she even had a number of people killed without feeling any remorse).

i dunno. i myself am confused at how confused you guys are. i feel like you're making things more complicated than they actually are. when a new plot device is introduced, it might be easier for you to just go with it and see what happens than try to figure out what the show runners are trying to do because i feel like your conclusions or theories make you more confused than you need to be, because then you stick to your theories and don't leave room for their explanations, which are usually introduced later in the same episode.
