I dont think its about falling hard ( but yes she fell hard lmao) . She just cannot forget that the guy is human. We can say whatever we want about him being fiction, but once you realize the man is flesh and blood , that's it. He ain't God to try to kill someone. What he created was a drawing, not some breathing talking person. That's why kang chul was able to shoot him, contrary to what her dad though... He is was not in control of anything anymore , the moment kang chul started making decisions by himself. it seems the Dad realized they betrayed each other and decide to forgive being shot for that reason. After all he literally tried to kill kang chul and left him for dead. I dont think she can blame him that much for shooting her dad, she knows better than be irrationally mad for something the victim forgave. If she can forgive her dad for trying to kill a human being, then she can forgive that human for shooting her dad to some extent. Especially when that human being life was written like a horror movie. Thats my little analysis on this never ending complaint Justin had about her wanting to save kang chul, Hahaha have a bit of compassion man ! We established that he is human through and through, she cannot let him drown everyday like that.

right! why are we acting like the dad has no fault? he’s not some innocent artist who became victimized by the fictional character he created, he was actively trying to kill kang chul even after finding out he was real he literally physically stabbed him while he was already on the ground bleeding out… yeon joo knows all of this right down to the gory detail and i think that’s the point of her overhearing the whole story on the phone, so she can understand kang chul’s point of view… if she hadn’t then she wouldn’t have been able to forgive him but she knows fully that her father was the real villain of kang chul’s story and how much he has antagonized him during that confrontation, that makes it a lot easier to sympathize with kang chul. i think it would make more sense for her to be scared of her dad bc she knows what he’s capable of but i won’t hold that against her, he’s her dad after all and the fact that he was shot adds to why she was a lot more forgiving towards him. as for kang chul, she was willing to let him go and didn’t push her dad to change the ending until she was pulled into the river and saw him drowned in the cold body of water obviously that’s gonna evoke some emotions, he’s a real person after all and she has feelings for him too. reducing her very understandable empathy towards him as just her being a 2d character fangirl or saying it’s bc she thinks he’s hot is unfair when it’s a lot deeper than that

thank you ! How are you mad that he shot him when the man plays GOD with him. He needed that humbling thats why he got shot lmaaoo. Hadn't hang chul shot him, I would have been so pissed.

It does pop the question: why, at first, do we feel the creator is entitled to its creation? I loved the scene in which her boss is complaining about the ending to her and the one she rejects the offer to change the ending. There is this idea that her dad is human and his life is more important than his work, it’s absurd people still ask him to keep writing and/or change the ending when they were told he attempted suicide because of this. But the entire episode invites us to question the absurdity of it since as the audience we know Kang Cheol lived. And as we question if he is truly alive, what is real, what is not and the value of different existences, is the creator entitled to its creation?

I mean yeah he was a fictional character But now he's as human as everybody else and what ever happened in the story to him is real as anything else.

This story really captivated me when I first watched it way back when it was first aired. And it resonated because I'm a fictional writer of sorts myself and I can relate to the characters that I created taking on its own life form as the story progresses, and sometimes I feel like it's them that's driving the story and not me. I think anyone who creates fiction or the like would relate to some degree.
