Truck-kun accumulating some good karma tbh

NicaSU97

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to Salon Drip Interview with Kim Hyeyoon and Byeon Wooseok

Lola osama

Kdrama of the Year fr

Lola osama

The way I love them 😭😭

Lola osama

For me 💯

Kate

Also I think it's important to note Tae Sung's comment at the beginning: lending any credence to Kim Young Soo turns him into a monster, a boogeyman with epic proportions when in reality he's just a sick dude. If there was a big confrontation scene, it would give him more credit than he's due. Although I will admit that they built him up for so many episodes that he was an adversary, but it feels appropriate somehow to have him die immediately and then move on

annisa putri

The Webtoon had a different running plot. There's no Kim Young Soo in the Webtoon. But the story still heartwrenching tho🤧 Waiting for the webtoon's final for 3 years now🥹🥹

Danis

That poignant moment between Sunjae and Grandma wasn't supposed to be a crying scene originally. But when they were rehearsing it, Byeon Wooseok burst into tears and they decided to go with that on the spot lol.

can't believe i have finished watching this show again with you guys for the past 2 months 🥹 I love the way you two immerse and really invest in the drama and try to understand every single detail. I also agree that it's kinda rush when kim young soo died. When I first watched episode 16, I was like "what the hell after all the tragedies he gave to Sunjae and Sol, he died that quick?" 🤣But oh well, Sunjae and Sol are happy now, that's matter. And if you guys like the time-traveling drama like this, I would recommend the drama "18 Again" starring Lee Do Hyun. I think that movie is a quite good one too. Anyways, I really do enjoy your reactions, thank you so much for the past 2 months hehe

jieunah

Personally for me this is how you do a romcom, the chemistry is insane, I can't rmr liking a second lead this much, having a main lead that's not toxic in so long, and ofc our girl Hyeyoon for never disappointing with her acting, she really made the show for me. Yes it had the obvious cliche tropes but they all worked well within the script. As for Youngsoo, like Taesung said we don't need to define his character, he's an evil person period and we don't need to see more of it which is why I praise this writer cuz she really said imma wrap this part up in 10mins and give yall what we deserve, like no back and forth just pure bliss which you dont see often. Also I second both yall reacting to the leads on SalonDrip for some fun behind the scenes stories.

jieunah

Yes, I commented something similar too, we don't need to give these characters more scenes. I rmr even the actor playing Youngsoo say that we don't need to to know his motives, he's an evil person that's the end of that.

NicaSU97

Funny you mentioned about relationship confirmations and it being a detriment to their careers, cause unlike the usual negative knet mentality, Korea is soo whipped for Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyoon nowadays that they're joking that their wedding should be at Gocheok Sky Dome cause the whole country want to attend haha (there's A LOT of funny comments under the Salon Drip Interview haha I go there sometimes and read the google translated comments, the jokes still come through even with the YT translate haha). But jokes aside, it's really sad that celebrity relationships are still viewed as "scandals" in Korea and i hope it changes soon. Like, if this drama would have an effect on knets' thinking, i hope they see that like Sunjae, real life celebrities have their own struggles and all of them deserve to love and be loved without the public making it hard for them.

NicaSU97

Yeah i love both Twinkling Watermelon and Lovely Runner for different reasons despite both of them having time travel (they're both my Top 2 kdrama currently). Story-wise TW is better for me but the emotions I felt during the roll out of LR episodes is unmatched. You know that feeling you get when you watch a kdrama and think "ahh this is going to be a classic", it's soo good that I'm currently in a kdrama slump right now hahaha someone please recommend me good stuff hahaha

Priya

Now that you have finished watching this you should react to the movie 20th Century Girl, it stars our boy Sun Jae. I first became a fan of his through this movie

Rika Agatha

My take is that it was Sun Jae that has a twisted fate with the Taxi driver and not Im Sol. So whether Sol is involved or not, the taxi driver will still somehow get tangled with Sunjae. Like for the last timeline, it was Sunjae's fan that made that connection between sunjae and kim young soo. So at least maybe Sol didn't have to feel so guilty about it.

Rika Agatha

The proposal is seriously one of the best Kdrama proposal I've ever watched. It was so perfect. You don't need expensive stuff or that grand gesture to propose, just an intimate stuff like this that feel so personal.. it is perfect.

Seelia

I think in every timeline, YoungSoo was the one who ended Sunjae. The original timeline, Sunjae was portrayed a bit sad but I think he was bored of his life without Sol. He never got with her and just didn't want the fame anymore. Don't forget he did save her in the original timeline so it makes sense the killer would be after him. The doorbell did ring before he was found in the pool. I'm also okay with the show not flushing out the antagonist's back story too much. It would've been too daunting. Instead, he was more like an obstacle the leads had to go through. I really didn't care to see more than was shown. Sol not having to deal with him one more time was just fine with me. After all, he was really after Sunjae in every timeline cuz Sunjae thwarted his first attempt. The romance was a better focus.

Shreya

yeah that's how i felt too- the connection with sol only happens in the past but in future timelines he always goes for sunjae , the other two timelines sol was able to escape from the taxi driver but the aftereffects of that lead to sunjae dying soo IF sunjae dies its in the hands of taxi driver and taesung has to save sunjae for him to not die

Seelia

Lovely Runner is also 9.5 for me. The cast was fantastic and I really love the way it was written so that we get Sunjae's point of view. And you guys are right, there's not many who can rival Sunjae's green forest here. But then you guys haven't seen Ji Chang Wook in action yet either. Lovely Runner used many characters from True Beauty, same writer. A very good teen drama you should add to a future poll.

Seelia

🤣😂 No way. Harris will die from sadness. . . . . Spoiler . . . . I'm glad I watched that movie first. Now after watching this drama, the movie seems like a two episode arc of this drama, where he dies. 😂

Priya

Hahaha I wanted to see them experience what I went through

Manha

Park Hyungsik's characters almost always come close to Sunjae in terms of 'being a loser in a love', lol. Also, I really loved rewatching this show with you guys - thankyou for the reactions.

Elena

Hometown cha cha cha is greattttt

Shreya

oh then how does the conflict arise in the webtoon?

Shreya

the time when sol was unhappy that sunjae hurt his shoulder AGAIN and was feeling maybe she can never change things but in the same ep Taesung put out the fire and helped sol so her mom didnt get burnt it was always taesung who had the ability to help change things so glad they made the 2nd lead very useful here

Asi Dus

Now when Lovery runner wrapped up, Revenant will came more often? I am so excited for it 😁 Please tell me what days of a week I should be waiting? 🫠🙏

Shreya

i also want to recommend EXTRAORDINARY YOU a very diff kind of show where you also have jang uk from alchemy of souls with the sol actress you'll definetely like this show's premise a loot its very different

Lina

Thank you guys for your reaction! This drama was incredible, I can’t even remember when I was so invested in the drama from beginning to the end. I will miss this show, itleft such a warm feeling inside… also, I’m in love with OST, especially with songs by Byeon Woo Seok (Sun Jae), his voice is so warm and soothing. Byeon Woo Seok recently did a lot of fan meetings outside of Korea where he was singing songs from this drama, he is very good at live singing. Also, all behind the scenes are amazing too, the main couple chemistry is sooo good on screen and off screen. I hope you will react to live performance of the song “Star” by N.Flying (Sun Jae friend In Hyuk is member of this band). This song is OST from Lovely Runner.

Rika Agatha

I think what sets lovely runner appart from other Kdrama is the ending. I'm used to Kdrama have a rushed ending. Or just show that the main couple is happy again for maybe the last 10 min of the show and I hate it. Dude you make us traumatic for the pas episode only to show their happy moments for 10 minutes??? Naaah... I like this way better. It feels more fulfilled.

annisa putri

Still, the desperation of Sol trying to save SunJae, but with different approach from the drama🤧

Kelsey

I loved the taxi driver's quick death! To me, it showed that he was never part of Sol and Sun Jae's fate anyway. If the taxi driver hadn't interfered, Sol and Sun Jae would have met eventually; they were neighbors and Sun Jae was already screwing up his courage to talk to Sol in the first timeline. The taxi driver was not part of their story; he was interfering in their story and needed to go away. I was tired of him anyway. I don't typically watch Kdramas as they're airing, but I did watch this one and after the emotional roller coaster of 8 weeks, I wanted a final episode of fluff and cuteness and love and the show gave me exactly that! It's definitely in my top 3 Kdramas now.

Rifat Oishi

I subscribed to Patreon just to watch your full reaction of LR. I enjoyed a lot rewatching this awesome show with you guys!!Thank you for your reaction❤️ BTW , you guys should watch Prison Playbook! I think you guys will love it! One of the best KDrama i have ever watched!

Seelia

Watching this again! Both your enthusiastic giddiness mirrors my own! 🤣😂 These reactions will be such a great re-watch when I am in between shows! Something I missed, Sunjae bought the necklace after he was famous and rich. He already had his manager with him. Also, why would you guys want Sol to see the killer again. What could she had done? Not like you'd want her to physically delete him and have more PTSD. The way he went out was perfect.

Sam

Great point! Also, I feel Sol already was facing her traumas and trying to move on by making the short film about a wheelchair user. I liked how even if she wasn't out there fighting for disabled rights, she was portraying and giving voice, in a sense, to her time as a wheelchair user, rather than dealing with the person who caused it, which kinda makes it more about the perpetrator than the victim. I don't know if I made sense though, lol.

Sweet Kookie

Fun fact: there is a drama call While You Were Sleeping- actress Suzy and actor Lee Jong Suk (W Two worlds), that’s why it’s hilarious when they change the name to While My Husband Was Sleeping 😂

ana

Kdrama of the year, too good
