never clicked on a video so quick!!!! so glad i don't have work today, the wait would have been torture. the way you guys kept talking about characters dying in the last episode, i couldn't help but cackle thinking what you guys were in for lol

for Wang Yoo, the whole 4 lifetimes things doesn't apply since he is a grim reaper. that system is for humans. so when Sunny asks him what's next for them, he replies with 'i am not sure' cause he doesn't know and nobody can know what it would be when a grim reapers punishment ends, and they can finally pass on to the afterlife. i interpreted as that they are finally free from the cycle and be at peace now but for grim reaper, God gave him that one life along with Sunny's final life so they can have that normal happy ending after everything.

For me, it's a matter of perspective. I had no issue with the age difference because I saw it as something that was destined from the beginning. After all, it's a fantasy drama. I think the screenwriter did a good job, of avoiding the typical happy drama, where everything has to be happy and romantic.. It's certainly not a drama for everyone—you have to really immerse yourself in the story, to appreciate it. Thanks for the reaction, guys! I hope you'll watch Reply 1988 soon; it's also one of my favorite K-dramas! Bye!"

The fact that it was her birthday while you were watching the last episode just makes Kim euntak a real "Special Case", hyperrealism I guess hahaha

Thank you for reacting to Goblin ❤️ Please watch Kim woobin's drama "Uncontrollably fond", it is a special one because what was happening in the drama was kinda happening in the actor life too.

And it is a wrap! When I watched this for the first time I gave it an 8.5, while it is definetly a 10 in terms of cast and being iconic overall but the high school/older guy trope was unnecessary and out of touch even then. They could have met when she was in college or in a gap year after high school and it wouldn’t significantly change the main plot. The show does feel dragged in the middle and then the last two episodes are just packed with main events, so the pace feels wanky for sure. That’s it for my minus points. Now my favorite things in the last two episodes were the sunny couple and the perfect day for a sacrifice moment. Their chemistry is so good, and they just feel so right that I’m probably watching Touch Your Heart after this hahah I have to say the cast is stellar in this, imagine the same show with different people, I don’t think it would have worked. Goong Yoo and Kim Go-Eun gave what I think are some of the most heartfelt crying performances ever, they really pulled off sad love. Overall what I love about it is how it carries the themes of loyalty, found family and spirituality all throughout. The way is visually shows the omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient chariteristics of god and depicts free will and how those create fate it is quite interesting. My final score for today will be a 10 for a totally different and biased reason, my man Kim Min-jae (the young king Wang Yeo) had very little screen time but he shined! And I hope when he gets of of the army he will pick a project that will let him show his full range. And because would this even be a real comment if I didn’t recommend something: Dali and the Cocky Prince, Tempted, and flower crew joseon marriage agency

Finally! This run seemed longer this time. I think it's the pace of the show. The overall lesson was deep, but the story didn't have enough meat so they added a lot of filler episodes. My favorite relationship was between Reaper and Goblin. Then Reaper and Sunny, even though they only had a lot of staring scenes between them. The main relationship was just ok. The audience had to root for them because the story was written that way but I don't think the actors had any "romantic" chemistry. The show could've been told in 8 episodes for me.

I'm more excited for this weekend finale of DOTS and Love Struck coming up! 😍

it’s good that you guys talked about the age gap at the end and didn’t completely disregard it. personally I wasn’t able to watch it all the way through because of it and it’s just not something i can overlook. obv in these types of fantasy shows it’s inevitable for there to be a significant age gap between the characters if one is a supernatural being and the other, a human but the way the writers still decided to go the extra mile to make it even more noticeable by making the fl a teenager is so weird to me. not only is euntak a high school student she’s in uniform for a good portion of the show and even talks and behaves in a manner that makes her appear even more younger… i will forever be mad that such a star studded cast was wasted on a show like this . this is why i’ll never trust kim eunsook to deliver a decent script and i want her to stay away from my favorite actors. anyways glad we got this out the way 😄 and now onto better things !!

Mr. sunshine was also written by Kim eun sook though😂

I completely agree. You can enjoy the drama in certain parts, while also realizing that today this drama would definitely be made with her being at least in her 2-3rd year of college. Like Harris said, she should've at least been in her twenties. The writer does a MUCH better job with the age gap in Mr. Sunshine. It* was a long time ago, but I honestly feel like it's more of a respectful partnership with so much respect and it's done with much more care than Goblin. The FL is also much more mature. (That's all I'll say! I don't think those are spoilers). The writer probably took the criticisms from Goblin and made sure to write better relationship/s in Mr. Sunshine. Cannot wait to see your reactions! Every episode is like a movie!

It was nice watching this with both of you. And regarding your post episode/drama discussion I think I agree with you. I feel the age part did not hit be back then but I now I do feel like man she was just in highschool. Also for me Goblin-Reaper and Reaper-Sunny were my fav relations. And specially liked how Goblin-Reaper story played out. Also in this watch, it made me realize that there is just so many flashback scenes of scenes we've already seen. :") But yea I enjoyed watching with you. And finally since you were curious, I think Ji Euntak's new name was Park Somin, I think that's what was written on her uniform nametag in Korean. :3

This was my first watch of this show unlike some others where I was watching it again through your eyes. I loved watching it with you all, which made it more enjoyable for me. I liked Goblin but didn’t really love it. The only relationship I really liked was the bromance. I found the earlier episodes far more enjoyable than the 2nd half. Your commentary was spot on for me. Thank you for your reaction.

The funny thing is... Touch Your Heart premise is basically Wang Yeo and Sunny reincarnated life here. She is an actress and seek a professional consulting to him. Looool. You should really give it a try after all those sadness here.

Thank you for all the fun watching it again, this time with you guys. Recently, I watched Touch Your Heart, as many people here recommended it. It was so much fun as well though kinda late. Should have watch it back then, but, anyway, your reaction are always fun to watch. thank you

that part where he says goodbye to dead Euntak will forever break me every time i watch it. The actors all remained good friends, and Gong Yoo and Lee Dongwook still cry whenever they talk about this scene lol
