This episode was a roller coaster. I cried when they were struggling, I cried when they were happy. I was emotionally recked the whole time. This show was done in such a good way. Even the cast mentioned that it's written and told like a poem and I completely agree with them.

The truck was honking because gwansik was out on the waters so the honk was the signal for him to come back,,, and so the camera went to a boat rushing back to shore which was gwansik lol

Boo Seungkwan from SVT is from Jeju Island and he watched it and said he cried a lot during this show lol his family name (Boo 부) is sanggils last name as well 😂 one of the historic clan names in jeju!

It really is a real life slice of life type of show. I love how we see multiple generations of a family and their community. A true ensemble show that shows the devastating hardships and the true high points of life. 🫠

This is really hard for me to watch at this time. My aunt passed away recently, we held the funeral just a few days ago. Her mother - my grandmother - had to bury her daughter. I’m already in a lot of pain losing my beloved aunt but she must feel a different kind of pain I‘ll never truly understand since I‘m not having children.
