Not sure if this was mentioned before, the 3rd King (Wang Yeo) was the same historical reference of the King in Goblin (Guardian), the past life of the Grim Reaper. Remember the same king became paranoid after killing the whole clan of the Goblin..

It's not Alchemy of Souls guys. 😂 It wouldn't matter if she had one or not, none of this is real. It's just another fantasy loosely based on real characters. I did read up on this period while watching it the first time. It's a very interesting fact, who becomes King after the events in the drama. I'll tell you guys when you finish the show. 😊

Now I can tell you who the King in Goblin was loosely based off! It was the 3rd Prince/3rd King. The one thing both shows agreed on, he did lose his damn mind. 😂 People will probably come at me again for saying these characters were based on the same guy but I don't care. 🤣😂 Like saying The Man in The Iron Mask and The Three Musketeers are not about the same characters! 🙄😂

Seelia

Thank you! I mentioned this back in ep 4 and people got mad about it. 😂 They didn't like the fact that two completely different fantasy dramas could be based off a real person. 🙄

"Goryeo" is where "Korea" comes from. Due to international trades at the time, it was referred to as "Coree" in french and whatnot and other variations of that.

Wang-Yo and Wang-Yeo, It's two different names Moon Lovers Wang-Yo: 3rd king of Koryeo, R.945~949 Goblin Wang-Yeo: was not a real person. (there is no king named Wang-Yeo among the Goryeo kings) people GUESSED that he was modeled after the 17th king, Wang-Gu, R.1122~1146 because of similar circumstances such as he ascended to the throne at a early teen age, period of his reign, the villain treacherous official Lee Ja-gyeom's Rebellion, and the death of the deposed queen during his reign, and died of illness at a young age. etc... but even so, the era didn't match to General Kim Shin from Goblin either So.. Moonlovers Wang-yo is a real person, and Goblin's is just a fictional character just named Wang-Yeo. Even if goblin is based on a real person and not a fictional character, its true that Wang-yeo is closer to Wang-Gu than Wang-Yo.

Luffy

lol :) Moonlovers Wang-yo is a real person in history and Goblin's king is a fictional character just named Wang-Yeo. and they are in completely different timeline
