Victory at what cost?

Hey, you missed the end credit scene. Junmo shot Gicheul because Gicheul was about to kill himself, and Junmo knew that the guilt would completely destroy his wife. So instead, Junmo took the shot and accepted all the blame, just to protect her from suffering. In the end, the ring he places on the grave symbolizes his separation from his wife.

Some couples can recover and some can't. I think she loves her husband but she also still care for her first love. To me, I think she loves her husband more even if she still wears the necklace. Somethings just stay with you cuz it's part of your life, doesn't mean that you still want to be with that person. I don't think they made up in the end. They changed too much.

I think they all lost. Although technically, Junmo won as a cop, but he lost his marriage. Euijeong lost both her first love and her husband. Gicheol lost his gang, his love, his life. The worst of evil, hmm...you trade what's important in your life for uncertainty.

Was about to leave the same comment. And I didn't realize that when I watched it for the first time.

There was an end credit scene. Of him and gicheol walking through the streets of gangnam. I think he put his wedding ring on the grave to show the end of his marriage, he gave it up. I also think cause he knew gicheol was a Christian, ending himself is like a sin so maybe he ended him to offer him some sort of religious redemption
