What a journey rewatching True Beauty with you guys!Gotta say, I didn’t enjoy it this much when it first came out. Loved the character stereotype switch-ups, especially with our 2025 queen and her grapefruit. Always a good time watching your reactions. Thank you for 2025. Looking forward to 2026!

I think people were very strict about Cha Eun-woo’s acting, but I genuinely enjoyed him in this one. It really suited his character’s age.

While this one didn't quite land for me the way it did for you, I loved watching you enjoy it! For me, it felt a bit forgettable, like it didn't fully commit to its theme. That said, I do agree it was better than Strong Woman Bong-soon, which I couldn't finish despite the leads' chemistry. As for Cha Eun Woo, I know this is going to anger many, but honestly, I don't find him that pretty or attractive and he doesn't do much for me in terms of acting range. But I'll give him this, there's a certain charm there that makes him watchable even when he's cycling through his three to four expressions. Anyway, looking forward to the next show!

I love this show just off the quirky and cute moments, with all characters and having an equal love for both male leads. Noona is definitely my top character though! And teach was hilarious too lol glad this was a high rating for both of you despite a lot of people not voting for it and calling it cringe. It has its moments but the meat and bones of this show is definitely grounded like justin said. now i gotta go back and check which part harris got on his knees for noona the first time haha that took me out! thanks guys 🩷

I personally loved this drama. I enjoyed it a lot when it came out and on re-watches. The silliness can be easily dismissed for me cuz the show delt with a lot of realistic issues. Everyone kind of really fit their role and nobody really stood out as the annoying character you wish never happened. The pace of the show was good too. Episodic but still moving fwd with the plot. You got the main couple and then each of them have their own issues they have to deal with. You got side characters with their own problems and secondary relationships that all have to work around the leads. Even the group of friends were fun, cuz what school don't have bullies, smart kids, jokers, nerds, and especially that one couple who is always off and on. I commend the show for not making the teachers bullies. I've said that before, but seriously I was happy we didn't have to deal with that yet again. I can go on but I won't. Let me just say, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it as much as I thought you would.

I've seen My Dearest Nemesis. It was decent but not well written. Both sisters ARE in the show, but as friends this time. And yes, I loved them in that too and yes, Se-mi was also a strong independent woman in it. I just didn't think the male lead matched Ga Young much, and he channeled Park Seo Joon from WWWSK too much. To me it was kind of like the relationship from Bon Appétit Your Majesty. Where you can tell she looks more mature than him and the chemistry is not quite there. But I mean, who knows, you guys might like it more than I did.

Big Body & Bok

I’m happy that the side characters were great unlike me rolling my eyes in Bong-soon for example.

i’ll never get tired of rewatching true beauty, and i’m really glad you guys enjoyed it too. also, just a heads up, "my dearest nemesis" is actually super cute and such an easy, mindless watch as well.

Glad you enjoyed the show! @Harris, time to check out another noona! Have you seen any shows of Jun Jihyun yet? She is adorable in Legend of the Blue Sea where she plays a mermaid, same writer of CLOY and QOT. Now, that's a role you guys haven't seen yet!

This was a good show to me, it had cringe moments but still good overall. This show and The Heirs are the only kdramas where I really felt the second leads and even felt sorry for them. Both characters didn't move on in the ending and that is so realistic, sometimes they show how they find someone else or how they are happy in the end but it's not that easy irl, in fact, it was even more realistic in The Heirs because the second lead couldn't even stay friends with her.
