When she said to jaeho "if I had a brother like you who would do anything for me, i would always stick by his side", she genuinely meant that, and not in manipulative way, because she never had someone like that, when she really needed, who know if she did in her childhood, something might be different about her. So i think Ahjin probably does acts a teenie tiny bit genuine around jaeho, yes ofc it's all to use him in the big picture, but whenever she is laughing or is comfortable around him, that's probably real, atleast I feel so (because maybe she feels some sense of kinship from him, given both of their abusive childhood, and breaking free). Also, interesting discussion about junseo and ahjin dynamic, it's def complicated, but I do agree with whatever you said. Junseo is really obsessive over her, but also wants her to be happy and live a normal life (even if it's with someone else, but then again he's also obsessed so idk how he'll actually take that). And for ahjin, it's def not love or care, that's too much for her, but there's some soft spot, but that's all, using him is ultimately the end goal tho.

jae-oh is probably the only person in the drama that ah-jin is actually real with
