This episode is fantastic! Beautifully paced from start to finish. And the rooftop is soo emotional. Lololol at the white sauce. The director is cheeky enough to have made sure it was white on purpose. Btw, it is a sweetened condensed milk spread. Also, just one word of warning for youtube. If you put the whole song performance on youtube, I have heard of other reactors getting copyright striked. So you might have to just cut it in parts on turn down the volume during that scene.

This episode was just beautiful! What I especially loved is that Pat (who was so damn oblivious in ep3 and ep4 that I wish I could smack him - hurting Pran like that although unknowingly was painful to watch) realized his feelings fairly quickly after being confronted about them. And my god I could not get the song out of my head after watching this episode. (Personally I just really enjoy Nanon's voice) But yeah the pacing of this episode was really great and I also didn't expect them to kiss in ep5. And my god was that whole build-up and the kiss itself beautiful. The inner turmoil that goes through Pran visibly on his face is bittersweet to watch. Yes this kiss was something he always wanted but unlike Pat he tends to think of every possible thing that could go wrong so for Pat this kiss was a beginning while for Pran it seems like it was the end. Also you probably spoke for all of us when you said: "Can't they just be happy?" Because yes that's at least what I felt more than anything. For all they went through they deserve happiness. But we're only on episode 5 and a lot is still to come. Anyways I am glad you guys enjoy the show although it is something completely different from what you usually watch on here :)

I have a lot of homework and work to do, but for now I will just watch the reaction slowly and edit my comment perpetually as I watch. +26:35 In this whole series, both the main OST (Just Friend?, Our Song) were sung by Nanon (in Pran's character). I actually really love his songs, been listening since I found out about this BL. One of them gives the 80s vibe with synthwave. If you like, please react to Just Friend? before episode 7 (it won't mess up the storyline) and Our Song MV after the finale. +28:53 I hope that word "insecure" will be in the lyrics too. +32:55 Pat get jealous of Pran's friend (Wai) is not what we think it is. Of course Pat isn't jealous that Pran likes Wai, but Pat is jealous because he couldn't be Pran's friend publicly, while Wai can. +36:12 Finally someone said it, they are almost like "Romeo and Juliet". +46:35 I always like how perceptive Justin is. The music in this series is so good in conveying the vibes and feelings. +52:20 Pran shed tears, says "Why? Do you (just) want to be friends?" after hearing Pat said "do you think we can be friends". Pran thought Pat just wanted to be friends, but Pran, you didn't know that Pat also has feelings for you. He just wasn't sure if it is for Ink or for you. +The kiss can be broken down into two parts: the first kiss initiated by Pat, shorter, kinda to confirm Pat's feelings for Pran, testing the water, checking for Pran's reaction. The second kiss initiated by Pran himself, longer, more passion, more intense music, it's Pran's way to unleash everything he has been holding in for a long time. It was a powerful response. Pran was longing for that kiss for a long time. You can see that in his eyes before he reached out to kiss Pat. He kisses while in tears. The kiss that release all the pain in Pran's heart. Pran responds by kissing back, showing Pat how deep Pran loves him. Pat kisses Pran with passion and with a smile at the end, because it was the realization. During the long second kiss, Pran's facial expressions change from relief, to hesitation, and fear, and then he walks away, thinking that this is too good to be true. Pran probably thinks that he still couldn't have Pat because the reality kicks in. Pran worries about the friends and family (before that Pran even struggled to handle Wai), while Pat just wants to ignore all the consequences and go for his love. Pat will have to try very hard to help Pran slowly opens his heart again. Pran loves Pat very deeply, but unlike Pat, Pran was very scared of the uncertainty. He is more reserved than Pat. After they finished their second kiss, the music slowly softened down while showing Pran sad face (showing the relief after unleashing all of those emotions) because there are so many things going on in his head "What took you so long to realize? You made me wait for so long", and "Now what, how about Ink? Didn't you say you like Ink? I am so confused. Are you messing with me? I know you are the type who could just make a move on anyone", "It could be that you are still drunk (well, Pat took a cold shower to sober up), so you kiss me for fun and then deny it tomorrow". "It probably easy for you to kiss someone, but not for me. What if this is your joke, then did I just make a fool out of myself?" "I have developed feelings toward you for a long time and now you just realized it, now it's your turn to chase after me". All of these thoughts are something that I think Pran could be thinking. while Pat's face got uplifting music because the only things in Pat's head was happiness. He finally confirms that Pran also loves him. Pran is the overthinker and he will need Pat a lot. Depsite getting a kiss from Pat, at this moment, Pran is still pretty shocked and hurt because they don't know where this will go next. "Pat found out that I have has a crush on him. Now Pat knows that I love him". Pran now feels so relieved, but what will he do next? Who will pursue whom? Would Pran let this slide that easily? I feel like Pran is going to punish Pat for taking too long to realize, probably Pran will test him to see if Pat really loves Pran the way Pran has always loved him.

It mostly bcos Pran already felt the effect 😓 being transfered school into a boarding school when he got such a lovely family, “lost” his guitar.. he gain a friend in Wai though n probably why Wai kinda protective against him eventhough Pran fought good 😅

It's the build up to the kiss that makes it so good. From Pat realising his feelings. To the music contest, where Pat is initially happy for Pran's public acknowledgement of their friendship, but then feels bad because Pran got to finish performing the song with Wai with no consequence (except for winning!), while Pran got sent away for singing the same song with Pat. To the fight outside their dorms, where Pat was dying for some recognition or acceptance of their relationship. To his confession on the rooftop that encompassed their whole relationship. It is also the first time Pran realised that Pat was lonely without him. To Pat at least wanting the "friend" label to their relationship, until they both admitted that that is not what they wanted. And the scene just after the kiss where Pat looks like he can see his whole future. But Pran, who has been thinking about this for a long time, feels like it's impossible. And it's somehow more painful for him now because what he has wanted for so long is within reach but still so far away. Plus he is still unsure of Pat's feelings, because Pat literally told him he liked Ink a few days ago. Anyway, just very well written and acted.
