Attempting to keep some art momentum by mixing up how I get an idea down on "paper".

Sula's people live in a region that is basically a massive grass sea of wetland, so huge, water-resistant reeds are one of their main fibers.
Big fat crocodilian-thing leather is another water-resistant material they use.

Sula isn't a weaver, she just likes to do things with her hands when free.
While a lot of domestic work is seen as mostly men's business, crafts of all kinds are actually encouraged skills for both sexes in their culture.
