When the night came and the Who's were slept, the sound of clapping announced Christmas right away

But for those still awake a sound was rake, the Grinch was lurking around and the Who's knew where

On the ceilings! on our heads! they thought in awe, how can an ass like that clap without all Whoville know?

The Grinch wasn't unstoppable and the Who's knew it, the entrance of a chimeney would prove her blubber

In disbelief she was defeated but this wasn't the end, Although no Christmas was stolen the Who's would take her to bed
