Monster Rancher - The Ballad of Rowsby Woof (Patreon)

The Monster Rancher series is one of the unsung heroes of gaming and always should have been a bigger deal than it was. Monster Rancher 2 was one of my favorite games back in the day so i'm hype af to revisit it, but first i gotta play some Monster Rancher 1, cause i never played that one. 

Let me introduce you all to my new partner in crime, the mangiest smelliest and dumbest of man's best friends, the loveable and tenacious Rowsby Woof. Named after the moronic mutt from Richard Adams literary classic, Watership Down (which you should all check our of your local library unless you're a screencuck who doesn't read books). 

He's a loyal pup, and a noble monster, even as he repeatedly fails me i still love him for some reason. But i love him more when he wins. The unspoken truth of parenthood. Well, unspoken for you i assume. But enough about normal people and how much i hate them. Let's talk about the 4 things i love in this world, monsters, ranchin, ranchin monsters, and monster ranchin. 

Okay 5 things, if you count the timeless comedy of Gallagher, but that goes without saying. Like the free bingo space, who the hell doesn't it apply to?
