Last month i'm sure you all were positively riveted by watching me answer depressing choose your own adventure questions about early onset alzheimers and dead dogs, well now i'm past that so the game can finally start. Gosh, don't you just love that this is what games are now?

By "now" i of course mean 2013 when this game came out. I guess games have been like this for a while now. God, what am i doing here? I haven't belonged in this world for a long time.

Blah Blah Walking simulator. Disembodied female companion voice. Horribly unlikable protagonist. It's everyone's favorite game, that game. A walky talky with a walkie talkie.

Oh and you better believe that like every game in this genre it's gonna take 17 hours longer than it needs to. Both because the game itself is padded the fuck out and because i'm an old man who gets confused and doesn't know i'm doing. Old man in the forest, old man on a couch, it's all the same.

Where's the escapism, i ask you? At least the Gone home let me escape the game itself by being beatable in the first 5 minutes.

I'm actually shocked to hear that you didn't like Edith Finch, I thought that would be one of the walking sims you could get into. I thought exploring the house to see all the details about the family and going into the story books was really cool, and I love how if you use a controller the analog sticks mimic your character's hands.
