“No one,” Ben repeated, already going through their mind to try and see more context. “If you’d seen how much I’ve been offering, you should know pretty damn well that’s impossible.”

“Ah, it’s unfortunate but sometimes things turn out this way,” They tried to say, sounding stiff while Ben managed to see in their memories exactly what had caused it while he tried to keep himself contained.

It seemed the paper they’d read hadn’t shown that he hadn’t received any takers but instead had a note telling whatever employee ended up reading it to tell him as much, meaning for whatever reason, the adventurers guild had made the intentional choice to not help one of their first ranks.

He clenched his fists and took a deep breath before unclenching, already feeling like whatever was happening was going to be a pain to deal with as he spoke again.

“Alright, listen, I know this isn’t your fault but I also know you’re lying so is your guild master in so I can deal with them or do I have to track down wherever they live to demand answers on their doorstep?”

“...Just one moment, I’ll get them for you.”

“Oh, I think I’ll follow along, thanks.”

He didn’t want to give them any time to be warned about who he was or why he was there and much to the employee’s discomfort he walked behind them, through a hallway and up some stairs until ending up in front of another door that the employee tried to knock on, failing entirely as Ben just let himself in.

“Hello there,” He said in forced cheer. “I’ve come for answers and I’m hoping you wanna do this the easy way.”

The man on the other side didn’t immediately respond, at first looking more surprised than anything before their attention turned to the employee Ben had come with, waiting for some context while they tried to shrink into themself.

“Ahem, first-rank adventurer, Ben Heph, here with concerns about his recently submitted quest.”

While that didn’t get any visible reaction, Ben was already in his mind and could feel the worry such a statement brought while he continued on with his false cheer.

“Yep, that’s me and while I’ll at least say for your poor employee’s benefit that they didn’t let on that you lot had decided to suppress my quest for some reason, let’s be real, it was obvious. Who would believe I wouldn’t get a single taker when I was offering so much? Honestly, get better at lying. So now the only question is why.”

“I’m sorry, but I’m not at liberty to say.”

Ben could feel the fear in the other man even as he said it. Since Ben was at the first rank that meant he had at least two awakened skills, more than enough to tear the place apart if they were combat-oriented if he was angry enough and despite the feelings of good cheer he was trying to project, it was plenty clear he was seething inside.

He might have even given in to those feelings too, if not for the fact that he’d gotten the answer he wanted from the other man’s mind, telling him all he needed to know. The quest hadn’t been denied at his discretion but had come from the very top, with that guild not even getting a reason as to why, giving Ben somewhere else to direct his rage as he asked only one thing more.

“Where can I find the head guild location?”

---

Returning to a city Ben had been to twice before, he was once more at warriors’ tower, walking the streets he’d once rioted through to end up at a grand building that made up the home of the main branch of the adventurers' guild and let himself in, finding the place swarmed.

It shouldn’t have been a surprise, as the biggest branch he’d seen by far in a city that was wholly devoted to developing one’s combat skills, there were plenty who would take the job, both to prove themselves and as a form of practice in whatever spare time they had so it was bound to be busy but at least it was staffed well, with the line he went in moving smoothly as he got to the front while he tried to keep his feelings under control.

It was hard though. He’d been working so hard and now it looked like someone had decided to get in his way without so much of an explanation. It couldn’t help but enrage him when the entire reason he was doing it was for the sake of growing to help the planet as a whole. He was constantly forcing himself to keep calm as he made his way to the front, a guild receptionist greeting him politely once he got there.

“Hello, how can I help you today?” They asked, with Ben’s card already out and at the ready, showing his status as both an apostle and a rank one adventurer.

“I’m here to talk to the guild leader, they should be expecting me.”

“Uh, just one moment, I haven’t heard about him having any meetings set up today.”

“Oh, we don’t have one but seeing as how he intentionally suppressed a quest from a rank one adventurer without any sort of explanation and tried to keep the entire thing a secret, he absolutely should have known I was coming to see him.”

He said it loudly, wanting others to hear and it got some murmurs around him. The guild generally wouldn’t reject a quest from such a high-ranked individual but to do it without so much as an explanation as to why was unreasonable.

Stating that so clearly made the employee look uncomfortable as well but they tried to keep in control of the situation given they only had his side of the explanation.

“I’m sorry to hear you’ve had problems, if you’d just take a seat for a moment I’ll get someone to you as soon as I can find one who might be able to tell you what happened.”

“Oh, thanks but I’m not really one to wait around.”

Without waiting for a response he left the line and started walking towards the office he wanted. He’d already seen in their head where it was and that the guild leader was in, he wasn’t going to wait for them to give him the runaround, even as different employees caught on to what he was doing and followed to try and stop him.

“Sir, no matter your rank you still need to wait,” One said, grabbing his arm and ending up pulled along as Ben ignored him, forcing them to look back to the others. “I’ll need some assistance for this one!”

More hands grabbed onto him but with no luck slowing him down. With all of his awakenings tied into the potions he’d drank and his near-constant training, he was simply too strong for even an average adventurer to stop, let alone the staff, and when one eventually resorted to trying a sleep spell on him, only for it to fail too, did they realize how out of their league he was.

That didn’t keep them from trying though as he eventually made it to the door, kicking it in and forcing the one inside to rise to their feet.

“What in the name of-”

“Ben Heph, rank one adventurer,” He said loudly, finally forcing off the ones that had clung to him. “ That would be the name you need to worry about right now, seeing as how you decided to get in the way of my quest without so much as a word why.”

The answer got him a glare but Ben didn’t care as he walked over to the desk, and seeing there was no seat on the other side of it for him to use, made a point of materializing one for whatever intimidation factor that would give before sitting down.

“So, mister bigshot man in charge, why exactly did you decide to cancel my quest while telling the guild I put it through to just pretend nobody accepted?”

Still glaring, the guild head looked over his shoulder and waved away those who were standing at the door before focusing back on Ben.

“Misallocation of guild resources. You’ve already put in one inappropriate quest in the past and I’m aware of how many of our books you’ve had sent for. You can’t simply do what you want and get away with it. Perhaps consider some of your actions while I’m being lenient and get out of here before I strip you of your rank and call the guards.”

More rage flooded Ben’s heart, not for what he’d been told but for the real reason he’d seen in the man’s memories as to why his quest had been stopped, leaving him to materialize a knife and plunge it into the desk in front of him while speaking in a cold voice.

“High vitality enhancement, level zero. High spearmanship, level zero,”

“What are you-” The guild leader tried to ask as Ben materialized another knife, once more plunging it through the wood in front of him all the way to its hilt as he went on.

“Air augmentation, level eight. Thrust enhancement, level four. Pain resistance, level four. Laceration resistance, level three…”

Ben went on, listing skills and levels while materializing more knives to stab into the desk as the guild leader understood what Ben was doing. Aside from the obvious intimidation, he was listing the other’s entire status.

“And finally, cooking, level zero,” He finished, plunging in a tenth knife. “You can’t lie to me and you sure as fuck can’t hide anything from me, so why don’t we get to the truth of the matter and the reason you blatantly abused your position. Your god asked you to not allow my request to go through.”

It was a fact that had him fuming as he resisted the urge to track them down to get whatever experience he could to his sacrilege then and there. He didn’t know why but the one the guild leader had worshiped had seen fit to step in to stop Ben from getting his quest but there were clearly no good intentions behind it, with the guildmaster not faltering.

“Fine, that’s correct but now that you know is all the more reason to give up. If the gods don’t want you to do it then do yourself a favour and try to atone for whatever got you in their bad books and get the hell out of my office.”

“No, it’s not gods, it’s god, singular, and as the leader of one of the most prominent global organizations on the planet, it’s your job to remain impartial. You can’t be letting others influence your choices when it comes to the people under you.”

“We’re not talking about some random other, we’re talking about a deity. Say what you will and threaten me how you’d like, you won’t be seeing me changing my mind.”

Ben had to stop himself from hurting the man. Too many of his minds were edges away from materializing and others were prepared to actualize since he could inflict mental damage that way without leaving wounds but he held himself back in the end, just barely.

He was enraged in ways he rarely had been before and he was being mistreated for reasons he didn’t know but that wasn’t an excuse to go so far as to maim or murder a person.

But he also couldn’t do nothing. If he didn’t let out a bit of his anger then he was going to explode and since he could see there was no changing the other’s mind he ripped from him all of the mana his body held without another word, forcing him to mana exhaustion before using his magic to turn the other’s clothing to dust and materialized bottles and alcohol to fill the room, pouring it over him while he was passed out at his desk before walking out back to the main hall and enchanting one of his bracelets to act as a microphone for all to hear.

“Man, I can’t believe the guild leader is passed out naked and drunk at work. I knew he was unprofessional but I wasn’t expecting it to be that bad!”

With how loud he was it got plenty of attention and while most eyes ended up on him, more than a few went to see what he was talking about while he left the building to whatever chaos would unfold, instead speaking up to the sky.

“Myriad, you better be free right now. I have a pretty big complaint and I’m expecting a meeting with the gods as soon as possible to get it resolved.”

<Oh hell, what is it already?>

“One decided to get their believer to keep me from putting a quest through. Seeing as how I’m pretty damn unhappy about that, I want to get that resolved before I go to burn their church down.”

<What happened? Hold on, if you’re telling the truth then this is actually rather serious so give me a little bit, I’ll make sure all relevant parties know.>

“Okay, thanks.”

He’d tried to sound calm with his god but the moment he went off, Ben punched the guild wall, feeling stone crack under his attributes and the significant buff he was getting from his ill intent before walking away to some quiet alley so he could sit on the ground, lost in his thoughts.

No matter what I try to do, someone always has to get in the way.

His anger slowly gave way to his frustration and he covered his eyes to block out the world, waiting for Myriad to get back to him.

Come on ben, find this god and kill the shit out of him. I mean by this point it's just sabotaging the world. Declare him a traitor to the demons, kill him, then force everyone to accept it as a fair accompli

Vorquel

Ben really shouldn't be taking out his anger on people who couldn't stand up to gods even if they wanted to. Love the chapter tho. I only disagree with Ben as a person, not as a character.

josh mitchell

Bruh, I was so excited for the mass job completion as well😭

Nyroe

"Ben tried to save the world... But the world REFUSED to change" It seems that everybody in this universe is intent on making Ben become the next big bad after the Demons. The gods probably aren't thinking about this, but what is their plan if the 3rd wave is the last one, and Ben survives? Surely they have already seen how he holds grudges by this point.

Orims

Ben should just do it what are they going to do? Prevent another of his quests? Send a demigod or tier 3 to off him? Honestly the gods should know by now that Ben has grown beyond their grasp to interfere with and it would be the best to be friends or he will use their souls to grow another bush.

Isiah Debarros

Why do we need to deal with this bullshit

Sesharan

Oof. I was getting pretty amused at all the hell that’s about to rain down, but Ben’s frustration is actually pretty rough to see. He’s literally planning to be a martyr for this planet, and they just keep making things difficult for him.

CherMi

They have corruption as a systemic problem, not just incidents Ben had to deal with. It won't change before demons are defeated, either. Gods, tier 3 holders and some people (like Ben himself) are too important for war effort to seriously punish, and they all are getting more and more desperate the closer to the third wave. That god will get only a slap on the wrist too. As such, for Ben the best way to deal with it is to just bulldoze through and get what he wants. Unless he wants to use this frustration and try for sacrilege awakening, but it's unlikely in full god meeting.

CherMi

There are 100% conspiracies to make sure Ben doesn't survive. The one he caught was by a fool oracle, but he doesn't read minds of gods and with how they are, they're just biding their time before striking.

Isiah Debarros

And beyond that is job speed run is generally a good thing like he is going to carry I don't even know how many people through who knows how many jobs that's literally straight up to strengthening the world and that's without consideration to everything else he's done for it like at this point their hate for him is just sabotage

Swinter

That's murder-hoboing of the highest degree. The God's being an ass. A delay of what, two days, isn't a "murder them" offense. Censuring them, however, is a given.

Talon88

Time for him to become the God of Sacrilege, denying the man who has become one of the most important people in the fight to save the world. Should trap the soul of the God and put it to work in ways that actually benefit people

Isiah Debarros

I mean if you want to compare usefulness he is definitely above one god hell that's without considering the fact that what he's trying to do is actively going to help the world and the consequences if Ben just loses it

CherMi

Objectively, they should have concentrated all believers in like a dozen gods with suitable domains and the others only receive enough faith to survive. Since it didn't happen, no one is going to even hear that Ben is more useful than a god (most gods altogether, to tell the truth) and saying it will just alienate all the neutral gods. They're not considering anything about Ben, most are just desperately trying to survive and look out for themselves.

Isiah Debarros

It's more than just being an ass. It's an abusive power. And overall just stupid him completing more jobs and carrying people through more jobs is literally strengthening the world. It would be like if a god try to sabotage him making weapons for the world in a way they did cuz they're actively working towards making it harder for him to complete his jobs which would make him stronger which would lead to better equipment made by him

Isiah Debarros

So not even just that from what we know, it's just a blatant abuse of power and beyond that it's actively sabotaging all of the people he was going to help with his job run which includes probably 4 contenders if that energy being is included hell realistically, it should be 5 cuz if he's going to carry anybody through jobs, it should be the contenders that he knows about which are the high light user the trisword user Jake Amy and their teachers so if the god potentially got in the way of 5 contenders, theoretically becoming 3rd tier with how without counting Ben the world is something has to be done

nugitoBambino

I'm with @isaiah here. Normally I'd agree with you @swinter but they're heading into a third round of invasions against an enemy that every god on this planet has failed to stop. That's measured in weeks, maybe months at this point. Ben losing almost a week on this has meaningful impact in lives saved. Anyone being this petty or obstructive just crosses the line into "killing will be better for the world in the long run". And dealing with clear cut extinction level events is the time for utilitarianism lol. Or at least the radical scaling up on punishments from 'centure' to 'strategic execution' is, if a bit extrme, still very logical

Talon88

Hell he might even be able to help yuzu because of his mind and soul powers. He charged through the job of a soul mage in a month and he’s even more powerful now. Imagine at the end him just pushing her through to another job possibility which has only happened to one or two other soul mages and that took years

Isiah Debarros

I don't even mean that he's like more useful than a God in general I mean that like what he's trying to do is more useful than what the gods are doing with their faith because they're specifically holding onto it for as long as they can Ben is going through a job speed run, and going to help his friends through it. His friends consist of 4 contenders and considering that the new contenders that he just found are probably around the soul mages would probably be close enough to help them get through a couple of jobs too and literally every drop counts when you're trying to fill the bucket to get to the third tier so doing something like telling your believer to make it so he can't complete something like his job speed run is actively sabotaging the world because you got in the way of multiple contenders potentially becoming 3rd tiers

david kirkup

Time for him to lead a second Rebellion. Think the head guy needs firing. Sure he can't go against his God but if his God can't respect the impartiality his position needs he can't stay there. Second I think this gods Church is gonna have a massive floating cube very soon. Thirdly saw someone mention Ben isn't reading Gods minds so doesn't know about conspiracies against him (they had more to say). I think this is going to change very soon. (Maybe not but how long can his 3rd awakening take. He is already a good enough grind stone to make the demon ascend so surely he must be really close

nugitoBambino

I think of it more like a military general purposefully delaying supplies to a an allied position in WWII bc they didn't like the captain in charge. Is summary execution maybe too extreme? Sure, but this isn't a slap on the wrist offence at this point, like the same actions might have been in peace time, it's a dishonorable discharge and jail time at a minimum

Blai Navarro

Ohhh boy, here we go again, the Myriad migraine arc!

Kendaar

Ben has proved again and again that he is a massive asset, and the gods have meddled too many times. In the past Ben has hit them with large threats and punishments but here we are again. This needs to be big, the consequences have to keep escalating otherwise other gods can just go ahead and interfere. I'm expecting Ben to make a permanent example of this god, for example maiming them, cutting off a finger or something similar, permanent damage that shows he is a clear threat. Ben has show his capabilities, shown the consequence of withdrawing his support, but now he needs to show why you can't interfere.

Uroš

Heads are going to roll. I am looking forward to it. Time to give another god the Eneth treatment.

CherMi

To be fair to that god, I think among gods Ben explained the adventurer trick only to Myriad. So maybe they don't know exactly what he's doing and just saw a large request and blocked on principle. Or if they do, they must have spied on one of Ben's friends, then it's even worse.

Isiah Debarros

Ya like in the grand scheme of things, even though the guy tried to sabotage his job run and how useful that is to the world at large even if we don't say that anybody he helps or himself get the third tier it would help make the bucket that needs to be filled smaller from it and this is just another thing on the long list of them, sabotaging/or fucking with him when he's actively trying to save the world and strengthen the world with all of the abilities he personally has. There has to be some sort of consequence. Because at this point it's getting fucking ridiculous. Like fuck has time to try to do this shit when the world is going to shit anyway

SacredSteel

Ben will be out for Another Crusade. Quick get the pitchforks and the torches!

Corvusamous

I'm loving Ben's controlled Karen mode (I'll see if this ages poorly as I'm halfway in right now)

A Guy Named Chris With A Common Last Name

The gods were scared of him a long time ago. He's grown a lot since then. He has the power, the ability, to impose his will in all of them. Playing to his strengths he's about the strongest person on the planet. Like I get jobs aren't as good as skills, but third tier jobs are effectively enough for the average person to become a deity. Ben was able to conquer a forth tier job faster than most people complete tier one jobs. All I'm saying is bens going to be in charge of this whole thing in the end(even if he doesn't run it because who has time for that(possibly him with his insane number of minds)) I'm just waiting to see when it happens, will this be the beginning of that?

Corvusamous

Okay less controlled than I thought but it is life or death so this makes sense

Rizeres

I can see Ben asking for said gods head. Like what is more important, one random god, or Ben?

Redc05

What if ben just went to the gods realm and filled it with sacrillege land mines

Sesharan

Huh. I just realized that this is probably retaliation for Ben tricking the gods out of a bunch of faith for his job. That puts a slightly different tone to the discussion that’s about to happen. This is going to be very interesting.

TheCrazyDuck

At this point the gods really shoud be beginning to see that messing woth Ben is an exeptionally bad idea.

Justchillin

I can easily imagine him becoming a responsible and fair Divine Lawman, Judge, Jury and Executioner.

TheCrazyDuck

This isn't delaying supplies to an allied position though, it's delaying reinforcements to the final line of defense against extinction. Ben is one of the only people if not the only one that has a plan with any chance of defeating the demon god.

CataFlan

TFTC! Let's assassinate some random god, get T3 sacrilege and get going...

Sammot

Uhmm is this stupid, did a god seriously just fuck with ben?! Dont they know the consequences

uthr

He's got to get that sacrilege rank somehow.

Demolug

Poor Phixth, he’s just been saddled with another annoying and potentially difficult round of negotiations because of a stupid god.

Schmidt

I really need someone to state to the gods clearly that Ben is more valuable than any individual one of them. He’s giving limitless food, mana, weapons and on a broad scale helps consistently more than any god that’s not analias or natus level. (For sure fucked up those spellings)

juno

I always enjoy Ben quarreling with entitled gods who think they're doing a good job because they exist and not because of what they actually do.

Stell115

Man all my friends already droped this story and I think I'm about to too, it constantly feels like like the story is be stretched out. Jesus christ is too much to ask for some progression. the last high point was when Ben ended the first wave come on.

Tyler Thompson

As much as I love when Ben messes with the gods, I'm so tired of this whole job thing taking so damn long. It's stretched out so far it this point

TBONEMAN

He probably isn't putting up another Myriad Statue. Maybe a Falk statue? He needs followers too now that he is becoming a god.

RSmerlinious0

He could follow the faith the guildmaster gives to his deity to track the deity down if myriad says no

Abdul Rehman Zia

Shouldn't the corpse of the demon count as divine crafting materials, considering it was T3

RSmerlinious0

Also, thanks for the chapter!

Corvusamous

Maybe they don't. The world is bad about information exchange so maybe there are some gods who have only heard the "bad" stuff, unless it was brought up during a debate of the gods (or let's be honest ignored that part during the debate since not everyone deals with politics). Ben in Falk's shoes has been trying to keep some privacy but the only stuff that seems to stay a secret is the good he does like the braces, AC, awakening

Isiah Debarros

He can spin that as them being mad that they had to reward him it's over all stupid idea like he was always going to find out

Michigo

We are past the negotiation state, because the gods have already made it clear nothing they CAN offer will satisfy him. Ben is going into the upcoming divine meeting as a grade A blackmailer. My guess: let me f with the God that messed with me and give me mythic item X, or: i will execute that asshole myself and take what i want. Oh, and he can absolutely turn that threat into reality... one faith-zapping bomb hand delivered into a certain divine realm coming at a time. He is scared of the Deux Machina Demon God, not of individual gods on his world that barely have any faith.

Michigo

Sacrilege mines made out of the one element that zapps faith into oblivion.

Tim

Ben really needs to start implanting Faith stone in people. No pain to the person a direct any blantent slap to the god however.

Michigo

Ben is a walking, talking, crafting force multiplier for this whole double and triple doomed world... including the attached divine realm. The same can't be said for any one God. Mass awakenings? Check. Legendary equip made out of magic materials on a large scale? Check. Mana and attribute boosters based on artificial souls? Check. Infinite foodstuff? Check. Plus endless other nicknacks like those god potions. And all of this is based on outdated skills, if he gets serious he can do MUCH more. Plus he is an endless source of planetary level destruction if he feels like it. Putting even contenders, great spirits and gods to shame when it comes to raw firepower. => He is the last person you want to be close to when he finally snaps and goes mad.

Michigo

There is one thing ALL gods know: he already f-ed them over multiple times out of revenge, and there was nothing they could do about it. Meaning BEFORE one of them tries to start another round of "lets poke the bear" said god has to do his homework. It doesn't make sense to mess with him WITHOUT knowing a thing or two about the potential fallout. Details aside: they KNOW he is a very very dangerous mortal. I mean ffs: he nuked some demon worlds so hard that the frickin demon god went "fuck this shit i'm out" => end of wave 1.

Isiah Debarros

Ya and now he has that mana in the form of the jacket so he can probably do it again

Isiah Debarros

The other weird thing is that they should know his abilities so doing something that can be traced back is dumb

Emily Gurnavage

I believe it was previously covered that it doesn't count till they die the first time, *actually* become a God, then descend into a mortal body. That would be a divine body. But just a dead T3 doesn't count.

Emily Gurnavage

Us readers weren't told, but Ben already knows which God(ess) it is. He read the dudes mind for all the details. We aren't told yet for dramatic effect. Ben is involving Myriad because it will make everything easier when dealing with another God, not because he doesn't know which divinity it is. Ben even mentioned involving Myriad before he goes n burns down churches, lol.

Redc05

I still don't get why they don't steack demons with it to drain their god of faith

Quinn

I hope Ben will start leveling his skill rule Bender. Sounds to me like a skill too powerful not to Level.

Clara

Hmm. So when Ben made the guy look like he passed out drunk and naked. Did he do anything about all the knives he left in his table?

Hajakuja

Is this the arc where Ben gets thrown into hell and uses the Chekov’s gun in the basement?

TheLostGolem

I think he'd need to find a way to isolate which god it targets before going down that route. He's on decent terms with a good number of them. Also, the existence of the material is unknown to all but a few, so making alot of it would reveal it's existence to the wider universe, which could have unforseen consequences.

Damon Lippert

Hey, Thanks for the story- I love it.

Demolug

Because it would not work. It was unknown what it did before Ben touched it, meaning just praying to a god is too weak a link to have an effect. What is different between Ben and most people, divine-wise? His blessing. We know the demon god gives few blessings, since a contender had to capture Ben to get one, so basically all demons would not have a strong enough connection to their god to meaningfully drain faith from them. Or at least that is my understanding of faithstone, based on the time of its discovery.

Redc05

But they have that contender lockedup, and there are more contenders there now

Collateral_ink

I would argue that he didn't trick them out of anything. Tricking implies he was getting more than he was owed. Ben saved the world, three times; once when he defeated the Outsider, once when he prevented it from becoming a god, and once when he sealed the gates of hell. And in return for all of that--which doesn't even include all the other things he's done for the world--he was given a favor. A blank check. Ben asked for them to complete his job. The fact that this required more faith than they liked is not his problem, it isn't even a factor. He saved the world, he was owed a favor, he called it in--and they still didn't deliver.

CF Sapper

TFTC! and Thank you for the story! Holy poop, I found this 9 days ago on RoyalRoad and have been completely enraptured by it, it took me a bit but all caught up!!

Isiah Debarros

I mean the issue is going to be a targeted abusive authority Ben can retaliate. Also he isn't getting a mythic item for that to make sense it would have to be one of the gods with one and something like what it's god tried isn't at the level where the reparations have to be at that level probably be a blessing and changing the leader of the adventures

Isiah Debarros

It's not even the consequences it's the fact that he's going to get even and they didn't even try to like hide who it was. like it seems pretty obvious that he would try to look into why his quest didn't get accepted and then find out that it was because some asshat told his follower to do that which is like a huge abusive and also like counterproductive, considering what he was going to use that quest for

nugitoBambino

Oh 100% agreed, it's worse than my description - I just pulled the first thing that came to mind as a example

Sammot

Your completely right?! Didn't even think of that!

IdolTrust

Welp a god might be dead after Ben attack them. Finally tier 3 sacrilegious.

Rain

TFC

Stell115

No he doesn't do jack shit with except get extra mana that he can't use in combat apparently

ManInDark

I'm pretty sure we too can take an educated guess at which god it was, considering the mentioned skills (spearmanship -> eneth)

Alex

Poor Ben. Stupid gods really love fucking with him. Idiots. You'd think after the 10th time of it backfiring horribly they'd learn.
