If I remember correctly, the actress who played Allison wanted to leave the show because she didn’t like playing a teen when she was almost in her 30s at this time. Allison got on my nerves but I was hurt to see her die. I just didn’t like her with Scott and I was warming up to her again with her being with Isaac.

Crystal Reed wanted to leave to pursue other avenues and because she felt she was getting too old to play a teenager. The reason why Allison was killed instead of her just leaving is because Jeff Davis (show runner) and Crystal felt like there would be no way Allison would just leave her friends. Allison is too loyal and always tries to help and find solutions even when forbade to do so. Instead, they killed her because it was the only reasonable reason for why she wouldn't come back when her friends needed her.

So fun fact, Lydia's actress permanently damaged her vocal cords from screaming so much and she temporarily lost her voice so by the end of this season they had to edit in her screams because of the damage

Allison was my favorite character. A tragic episode . But her best episode because she showed out . She died but she showed them how to kill them with the light arrows . The show kind of lost the heart when Allison broke up with Scott. Her and Issac never had the same magic her and Scott had . The show keeps getting better . But for me Allison not being on the show . That special piece was always missing after her death on the show for me personally.
