Omggggg I loved this!!!!!!!!! This was so much fun to watch.

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I didn't see any issues with J.Balvin. The views that I got was that he was uncomfortable / self-conscious or not confident in his dance ability and he went into his shell / became a bit disinterested in a sense because he was out of his comfort zone. I've seen this happen a lot to the students that I coach when I teach them choreography that is a bit too hard for them, they become a bit "angry" looking in a sense because they feel embarrassed. I truly think this was the case for him at the start, and not that he was just being disrespectful towards Ateez. Plus it was such a short clip of them practicing, I think that's too little to be able to judge him on. People saying he was on his phone for ages when it's just a 15 second clip of what look like his replying to someones message. I think people are reading too much into that part.

I absolutely LOVED their interactions with Kylie. She is so fun and bubbly (which makes the contrast so much worse when it came to watching J.Balvin) and is really embracing all that there was to offer. She was amazing!

I really loved both stages!!! They did such a great job <3

Always love how real you are Mel. I 100% agree, I think everyone was being very irrational over J Balvin's "reactions" and "attitude" during the episode we saw. I also saw the clips and went to go see as much of the episode as possible... literally everyone was up in arms over nothing. I also saw it as him not knowing how to dance and he was just nervous, wanting to make sure he did a good enough job on the stage so he wouldn't let ateez down. he could have asked to do no dancing at all. i dont think ateez would have forced him to do it. idk if they were forced to dance (by the show), but he was just nervous. yeah, probably these people just haven't been in uncomfortable situations before and don't know what it looks like or feels like. and ultimately, if he was so disrespectful there, like he would have been disrespectful the whole episode, bc he obviously wouldn't care. the whole thing is being recorded anyway. I still can't believe we got kylie minogue x ateez.

My issue with him was the fact that he continuously said their name incorrectly, like that’s basic respect imo. And different languages isn’t an excuse for that. But also I know professionalism is a big deal, and I agree that he seemed self-conscious but one can be inwardly uncomfortable but still professional on the outside and having such a short timeframe to learn this yet having to have hj call him back over and mingi tap him mid performance to remember that it’s a team thing and to engage with them just made me ehhhhh. Nothing against him and maybe im reading too much into it but I wish both teams could have had the same fun carefree experience that the Kylie team had. Some j balvin comments were unnecessarily vitriolic but I don’t disagree with the 🤔😬🤨vibe many viewers experienced
