THIS WAS TORTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This reaction started out SOOOO hype... The performance was LIT... That Ceremony performace was messed upppp..... I would have DIED if I were there - it was SO EPIC!!! Legit one of my favourite performances they've done.

Then we turned sad..... I am SO proud of them but wow this was a hard watch. I can't handle seeing them sob. That hurt my heart. I know it was happy / reflective tears but woahhhhh I did everything in my power to control myself because my tears could have easily turned into SOBBING!

Then we ended with Lee Know.... what a professional! He pushed through so well but wow you could see how much pain he was in. After this reaction I did end up seeing the video where he fell. Poor darling, that looked bad! I hope he heals up soon 🥺

When I saw Lee Know limping, scenes from my own injury during a ballet performance came rushing back. I had to cross behind the stage, where the dressing rooms were and come out on the other side in just a few seconds. Suddenly I found an obstacle in front of me and with the adrenaline rushing, I jumped and tripped so badly that I didn’t even have time to look at what had happened. And yet, the adrenaline kept me dancing on pointe throughout my entire act. During a short break before going back on stage, they managed to spray it with a cold spray and wrap it, since I had to finish the almost two-hour performance. Of course, afterwards my foot was so swollen you couldn’t even see the ankle anymore, completely bruised, and I needed a full month of recovery in my case. I also saw the video of what happened to him. Basically, he was clearly running to make it in time to change, it was dark, the lighting was minimal since (I think) the manager was in front and Lee Know was last (I think there were two members ahead of him). You can’t clearly tell if he tripped because of the lack of light or if he misstepped, but you can see that he loses his balance, falls, and rolls over because of the speed he was running at. Beyond the pain which he handled amazingly, I keep thinking about the mental side of it. As a former dancer, not being able to give 100% in something I rehearsed for months was really disappointing for me. Imagine feeling that as a top artist…

my first time watching the performance live, i noticed lee know’s face behind I.N at 8:32 and then i couldn’t take my eyes off of him the rest of the performance 😭😭 another sad thing, minnie from idle, who performed day 1, also left mama in a wheelchair from an ankle injury 🥲
