 Hello everyone!

We have just released build 0.2.1 to our Patrons. This update took us a while, but it's packed with new features, content and fixes. Initially I thought that this will be enough for the next public release (0.3.0), but there's still a couple of things we need to sort out before we share the next iteration of "Komadori Inn" to everyone.

So what's in V 0.2.1?

Added:

Story/Gameplay

  • Quest 003 *

  • Quest 004

    • With illustrated scene

  • Quest 005 *

  • Quest 006 **

  • Opportunities to earn extra money

    • Mail delivery

    • Keeping an eye on the dog

  • Opportunities to raise Abilities (Charisma, Dexterity, Reliability)

    • Taking a bath, Reading, Eating

Mechanics

  • Items and item management

    • Store (buying items)

    • Backpack (using items)

  • Manual Save/Load

World

  • New map: Beach entrance

Extras/Art

  • Shopkeeper's pixel art and dialogue portraits

  • Ambience sounds for the forest (morning/noon, afternoon, evening/night) and the sea

Player's system

  • Player menu: Added exp bars in the Abilities section

Changed/Fixed

  • Front desk shift

    • Guest appearances and phone calls are more randomized

    • Front desk shift now raises your Reliability, not Dexterity

  • Bar shift

    • Guests appear much faster

    • Number of guests lowered by half

  • Many, many other fixes

A small notice: The introduction of manual saves and loading of the game has meant that we have had to make changes to the overall save system. Additionally, we have made some tweaks to previous gameplay elements. Your previous saves will still work, but you may encounter errors or strange glitches, so at this point we recommend starting the game again.
