RIP Takeoff. Shawn wanted your famous 2016 song Bad and Boujee replaced with a 13th Beatles song. Rise in Glory.

Didn’t expect to get on with this as much as I did but Roberta Flack’s voice was so warm and smooth. Angelitos Negos, I Told Jesus, No Way to Say Goodbye and Sad Young Men were the stand-outs. The bass that kicked off the record reminded me so much of an old Harvest Moon game’s soundtrack so that was a little distracting at first. Never something I would have picked up on my own but I’m glad I did! I had the same mix-up with Feel Like Making Love - the one you’re thinking of is Feel Like Makin’ Love (no ‘g!’) by Bad Company, originally. But can you imagine Kid Rock doing a Roberta Flack cover?

Shawn you're going to fucking LOVE Sleater-Kinney. Top 5 band for me, they feel totally made for you. If you don't love next week's album I'll eat my fucking hat.

Underrated album for sure!

Bad and Boujee > any Beatles song

Never thought I'd see Shawn listening to Bad and Boujee

Thank you Roberta and Shawn for my some of my new favorite songs to belt out in the car 🙏

This album didn’t do too much for me as a whole but that first song is so good. 2.5/5 for me and yeah, Sleater-Kinney is a Shawn coded band for sure.

I was so delighted with this album. So many beautiful vocal passages that kept me paying attention throughout. Bad and Boujee was the anthem of my post-university degeneracy. Not a meme song.

Migos stink but bad and boujee I'll defend- it's too long but its catchy and there are some GREAT remixes out there (https://soundcloud.com/omniboi/bad-and-boujee-migos-omniboi-rmx?in=andy-ko/sets/ll). Roberta Flack album amazing though.
