When responding to an incident in one of the research wings Arlan was caught up in a chemical explosion. Thankfully he wasn’t harmed though the chemicals he inhaled were from one of Ruan Mei’s side projects to alter the gender of species to aid in population growth in endangered species.

Although it’s a major change Arlan doesn’t mind in-fact she feels stronger in her new body ( maybe a side effect Mei added to increase the species survival chances). While sorting through her paper work towards the end of her shift she by greeted by Caelus who came to check on her after hearing about the incident.

Though shorty after they begin talking Caelus starts making advances on her and she feels herself heating up. What they don’t realize this is another side effect of the chemical that draws a suitable mate in and gets her ready for mating.

The two begin going at it in her office not caring about their previous friendship or that something seems off. All that occurs is load after load being pumped into Arlan.

Although it was all because of the effects of the gas Arlan doesn’t mind their new relationship and her pregnancy she’s got a stronger body that can protect everyone in the station and a wonderful new husband.
