Kian is spreading the Indian agenda but he doesn't even have the technique down 💀 I'm pretty sure if my parents saw me rolling the rice in the palm of my hand, they'd gag too 😂 Funnily enough, I think the concept of using the bread as a spoon is something I saw AFTER Americans started doing it that way when they got Indian takeout. We generally just dip the naan or roti in the curry or mix the curry and rice to eat with our hands. It's rarely all of it together. Also I literally squirmed 500 times watching Kian clean, like my brain was losing cells. I have insane OCD and just anything he does makes me pause and take a deep breath. I was surprised Jin was such a good sport! He's known to be a neat freak. If Kian was a BTS member, he would have gotten a lecture six ways to sunday

I'm no germophobe as well, but watching that bathroom cleaning scene then and now, WHILE HAVING MY DINNER (at both times), nope, sorry. I had to pause. I don't mind but not while I'm eating lol

lol i would suggest ignoring the things kian says regarding india because… he doesn’t really know what he’s talking about at all 😭 he says some other stuff in the next few eps so just a heads up on that

lol i bet you someone on staff cleaned the bathroom after kian be health and safty on variety shows is a big deal cuz you can get sued but hes washing the bathroom like that because in korea you have wet bathrooms there's a drain in the floor and you supposed to wet everything its normal granted Kian missed alot of steps lol but it's fine 🙂 Kian marches to the beat of his own drum but he's fine 90% of the time all the guests know what he's like this isn't new they wouldn't have signed up otherwise

Since Korea has health insurance that is guaranteed to all citizens, hospital fees are very cheap. Many people visit the hospital even with a slight cough, and even an x-ray costs only 5 to 10 dollars. So I remember being surprised at the joke that people in other countries don't go to the hospital unless they feel like they are going to die🤣

As someone whose culture is eating with hand (southeast asia) even i dont eat the way kian did😭😭 my dad thought me to eat without getting my palm dirty so we eat using our fingers andd we dont put our whole fingers in the mouth too😭😭 instead we push the food into the mouth using our thumb hhhh (the way we pick our rice is like this 🤌

i agree, the bathroom "cleaning" was WAY too much– literally a health hazard. i didn't care much about the eating with hands since many cultures do it + even us americans do it (burgers, wings, ribs, etc). but what he did to the bathroom was like, uncalled for and unsafe lol

I must say kian's whole inidan thing is pretty interesting,he probably picked it up throughout his travel but yah take his sayings with a big grain of salt. some indian dishes are eaten with hands like most south asian and African culture,still not true for all foods, cause that's much more efficient. But yah most other things he says are a little bull not going to lie.hehe.. But yah it was funny to an extent how he keeps talking about this is how indians do it for most weird things,but as a clean freak indian,I was over the joke quickly hehe. It was a major struggle getting through the cleaning scene. i agree.

I'm soooo glad you guys reacted exactly like I did to this episode. I was STRESSED OUT from the uncleanliness of Kian's 'cleaning', I swear I was in literal pain 😭😭 this was a tough episode to get through off of that alone (the only reason I'm forcing myself to re-live it is for you guys lol)

Honestly kian's heart might be in the right place but it just felt like a mockery to me. As an Indian it was very offensive of him passing everything as Indian when he was doing everything wrong & disgustingly. This ep was the ep when I had a full debate on whether I should continue watching the series or not. I did though because of jin & just ignored kian & his statements. It was truly hurtful

Whats more annoying is that this show is on Netflix & having this show portray Indian culture as something that it is not is just infuriating 🙄🙄 Specially when kian & his hygiene itself is questionable af
