I was wrong again. I didn’t think 222 would die this game - but then again, I also couldn’t imagine how 333 or even Gi-hun could have saved her, even with more time on the clock. Also, the scene where the baby was introduced as an official player felt kind of forced, to be honest. They were literally fine with leaving the game at 5.6 billion, but when it dropped to "just" 4.9, they suddenly got furious and were willing to go as far as killing a baby. They’re definitely not good people, but I also don’t think they’re ruthless criminals jaded to killing. It’s one thing when people die in the games, but killing a baby for a little more money feels like an outrageous stretch.

Noooo~ Jun-Hee 😭 But the drug I think is supposed to be fetanyl (they come in skittles colors off the street, because they drip liquid fet into an oxy 30 and re-compress it with dye) if it is Fetanyl, he very likely could go into withdrawals after 2 pills because those pills don't have measured doses. You can sometimes get a tiny hit, or a HUGE hit (which is why they're so dangerous) and so where he got a huge hit last time, he would have at least a day of withdrawals if he didn't take this second pill. 2nd pill in, he's gonna have a rough time coming down and clearing it out of his system and where he doesn't have an endless supply of water, he could die from it. This is such a good moral dilemma show, omg! I wish I could write like this lol and personally, it's a good one for me to make me think about my philosophies, because honestly, I'm probably on the crux of nihilism and don't necessarily think In-Ho is wrong 😅 like there was a time where I went a little off the rails because my faith in humanity had been so twisted and broken, that I genuinely wished the whole 2012 world ending thing was true. That we'd be wiped out in some quick explosion because we are an invasive species. A parasite taking over the planet and destroying everything, including ourselves. So at that time, I probably would have been fully on In-Ho's side. It took me many many years of therapy and rebuilding my faith in people to get to a place where I believe in second chances now and believe people can change, but I'm still on the edge of being so jaded that when I say "people can choose to be better every new day" that my brain goes "but most people don't" so this show is challenging my own conflicting thoughts and testing the work I've done to try and get to a better mindset. (BTW, you guys and BTS were 2 big factors in keeping me in a healthy place when my faith started to crumble again, so I truly appreciate your videos and commentary) A lot of my practice in Seiðr witchcraft (Norse paganism) has become about understanding that everything is a balance. People are equally light and dark from the outset and growth is the ability to learn to keep homeostasis and find that balance of negative and positive, bad and good. This is why my comments are always me riding the fence, or talking about nuance and grey area lol but ya, this writing for the show is like purposely tipping the scales in a safe and controlled way to make people think about balance and faith in humanity at a very high-tension point in time where there's so much disparity between groups of people and it adds to the discussion of tribalism (Sapiens is the book that I believe brought this discussion to life for people who don't study Anthropology or Sociology, ect.. basically, normies who don't go out of their way to study humans. It's a good book) I don't really have a point here, I'm just fangirling over the show's clever way of making us consider deep, moral dilemmas. A dream of mine to write in this style.

Finally catching up on squid game and somehow this episode keeps stop playing for me at 45:30 and no matter how oft I reload or try to skip a few secons/minutes it just won't stop playing after that part. Anyone else have a similar issue?
