Yeah the end analysis was great. I've read that Author got the idea from "Doraemon" a popular kids show in Japan with a cute cat like robot from the future that has gadgets that solves the mc's issues but often leads to chaos and carnage in a cute and funny way. Kind of like Dora with her back pack but Dora usually succeeds. This is author's "realistic" take on Doraemon.

In elementary school, there was a gypsy girl in my class. We made up stories that she had lice, that she smelled bad, that she didn't wash because she had dark skin... We threw her backpack in the trash or out the window, no one wanted to sit next to her, etc. She was transferred to another school because of the bullying. I still don't understand why we did that. Most of my classmates weren't psychopaths or anything like that, so where did we get so much hatred for that girl at the age of 7? I may be wrong, but in my opinion, 90% of the blame for school bullying lies with adults, parents, and teachers. Where else could 7-year-old children have learned about racism if not from them? Why would a child bully someone weaker if they were properly taught that it is wrong? Bullying at school is the result of the failure of teachers and parents. You can't put all the blame on "bad" children. Children at that age are closer to animals than to people. If a dog tears up a chair, it's the owner's fault, not the dog's.

As much as i want to hate Hana, i have a hard time doing so. I don't think children are capable of pure sadism. She is just literally projecting her pain and trauma on Shizuka. That said, i think if someone is unreasonable and can't be talked with, you should take such a drastic action against them, that they become afraid of you (of course i don't mean to scar them for life or something). But that is easier said than done, if you're already in that apathetic, broken state Shizuka is in. And Takopi is in a rough place too. I tried to console someone, that was really really broken. And though I experienced a very similiar thing to what they had, it makes it so hard to talk to someone like that. I felt like Takopi. I tried to find solutions, when the other person seeked salvation, when there is none.

for me this story is quite realistic. I was bullied in Primary school by someone angry at the world because his mom and uncle were abusive and constantly involved with the police, I was targeted and I'll never really know why. I don't really remember it much but I know it eventually turned me into a very angry and depressive person by secondary school. So yeah, whilst it was never as bad as Shizuka had it, I feel I can relate.
