In Germany we don’t usually go around selling things but we definitely do have events. We’ve done things like playing instruments/music, talent shows, theater performances, charity runs or even small festivals with games and food often for the children’s families and friends to join. I’d also say it depends a lot on the school and teachers - not every school does it, or at least not to the same extent. I always thought it was weird that it’s apparently the norm in the US for children to run around selling chocolate or other things, unless they’re actually raising money for a specific cause. It feels kind of sus if you don’t even know why you’re doing it or where the money is going.

In the first episode, they weren't exactly just pushing their work on Gojo. They asked him (because they had part-time jobs) and he usually just agrees just because he didn't know any better to decline.

I remember selling chocolates in elementary, they made it so if you sold 100 you could participate in an exclusive party at the school... I was able to reach the goal and I don't remember anything memorable about the party except there were flashing lights lolll
