If fanservice bothers you that much why are you watching anime to begin with? Cuz you arent gonna like 95% of anime then. Also boo hoo its on screen for like 2 seconds just ignore it or roll your eyes or something when it happens.

As far as I know, the character designs for the anime were developed by a small studio consisting of four women. The director of the anime is a man, and I can imagine him asking them to make a fan service costume for Vileta, and this is what they came up with 🤣

If by “small studio” you mean CLAMP, then yeah, sure — I get that they’re essentially just five people. But considering how successful and influential they are, I struggle to call them small. And yes, they’re all openly and proudly freaks.
