That's is super cute Rosie story with the pancakes. I'm allergic to cats so usually they follow me around as well. Never had a problem with any dog, mostly because you should ignore them until they decide they like you. Too many get into dogs spaces when their uncomfortable. Little hack for poached eggs: use a pan that has a lid, fill the bottom and put it too boil, use a silicone cupcake cups in the pan for your egg, cover and you'll get a great poached egg. I eat poached eggs like I'm still 10. On toast with ketchup 😆

I know this isn’t an anime but I was on crunchy roll and noticed something, thought I’d drop a comment here. New Frieren season 2 starts 1/16 and Jujutsu Kaisen s3 starts 1/8.

Got jumpscared by my own name being mentioned hahaha :D

Jimin being allergic to cats is such a cruel joke. He loves cats and they love him.

Your confusion about the trains and train station was so funny to me hahaha. Most train stations I know have two levels. The upper levels are the train platforms and the lower levels connect them and usually have like an area for sitting, buying tickets, snacks etc. The numbers on the lower levels like 4-7 indicate the platform number so when you're in the lower level you can see which platform you're walking on to when you take the stairs there. So they had to go to platform 5. IC6 on the other hand is the train number. So they're taking train IC6 which is leaving from platform 5. IC is short for Inter City and indicates that it's a faster train

Pasta spiking your blood sugar? Not strange at all. Blood sugar isn't just the sugar we commonly call sugar; it's really blood glucose. Our main source of glucose is carbs. Pasta is basically all carbs. Plus, carbs are our body's favorite energy source (our brains loooove carbs). If we eat it, it immediately gets metabolized for energy and ends up in our bloodstream. Pasta is also a MUCH more nutritious source of carbs. Like 60-80 grams of carbs per pasta serving vs. a much smaller portion in desserts (smaller amount of carbs + the protein/fat in desserts = much smaller blood sugar spikes).

Yeah, my friends have been to Korea many times, and they say everything in SK is sweet (Cheetos included lol). Especially things Americans wouldn't expect to be sweet. Which was surprising to me cause I'd expect SK to lean into spice cause of stuff like kimchi, but when I thought abt it, it checked out. In my head canon, their obsession with sweets came from their obsession w/ cafes lol. I have a friend who's addicted to spicy stuff and she just brings hot Cheetos from the US cause they either don't have them over there or they're too sweet/not spicy enough

True! A LOT of things that should not be sweet are sweet in Korea. The weirdest to me was the bread like all their bread is sweet even if it's paired with savory toppings or fillings. Sweet bread with garlic cream cheese was vile for me personally 😂. Koreans seem to love spicy sweet combos the most
