Merry christmas

The Anime Dude

10:50 Wes just called Hisoka a villain & then described how he’s like Goku. This is such a sad day for Nice Guy Hisoka… after all the things he did to help Gon & crew over the course of the series. 😓 Merry Christmas y’all, thanks for the upload!

I mean if you look at modern day politics majority of them are shady politicians who have ulterior motives when they have power and yet really charismatic and know just what to say to get votes so I’m not surprised he has majority of them lol (also excited for the nnext ct reaction the next to episodes these last few I hold very close to my heart) 🙂

I think the message the author is giving with Pariston's character is how "strong" he is. No matter your opinion for a despicable politician, being able to wear a mask and manipulate people like Pariston does is a terrifying and powerful ability. "The pen is mightier than the sword". I have no idea how I'd even begin to manipulate someone (not that I'd ever want to), yet he does it just because he thinks it's fun and challenging. He goes out of his way to make the process more difficult if his target is making things too easy, and he doesn't even need to use Nen to do it. Still 100% a scumbag, but he should probably be viewed with more trepidation, and not just contempt. Love your reactions, btw!

Merry Christmas!! ^^

Merry chrismas!!!

These episodes got me thinking what if you stop and actually really thought about predicting an outcome for random situations in your life Like, let's say you needed to tell your boss something you go through the motions, for me I really never stop in my tracks and be like "hey what are the possibilities here, and if they do this or that what are the outcomes." It's usually relegated to shows or the like, wonder how good of a skill you could make it (not simple outcomes either, like really trying to manifest your inner Sherlock lol)

- Pariston votes come partially from people in the bureaucracy, but Piyon (Th Rabbit Zodiac) commented at the 1st Zodiac meeting that Pariston has people that basically give gig work to lower tier Hunters. A callback to a conversation Morel&Knov had in the Chimera Ant arc. Pariston's faction was sending less talented Hunters after the Ants instead of the specific people Morel had requested. For the undeserved jobs they support Pariston. - Netero wasn't likely the best organizational leader; which is why Teredein's faction weren't his biggest fans and wanted to restructure the Association. -Tsubone's Nen type below **** *********** ******** She's actually a Conjuror.

Wes: You need to by psychotic like Ging or Netero That's exactly what Ging was saying to Cheadle. That of the four remaining candidates, only Pariston has inherited Netero's will. He's out there to play and not take everything seriously just like Netero was when he was alive.

Pariston is legitimately my favorite character in the series. I always particularly relish the stretch of a reactor's time with HxH where we get to this last arc and meet him. And I find it fascinating how many characters are introduced, fleshed out, and made to have impact in so short a span of time. A writing master-class, in no doubt.

Renegade

Author did a great job writing Pariston. Is he well written? Yes. Do we want to punch his smug face? Yep!

Hisoka is "Chaotic Neutral" is the term I think you're looking for, he's neither explicitly good nor evil

In regards to Tsubone, this polymorphic application of conjuration can be understood as conjuring an object to "override" the physical reality. You can achieve fusion in this way, be it person x object or object x object. Turning a machine gun into a snake would be a similar application. Or turning your hand into a hammer. Pure conjuration creates something out of nothing, while the polymorphic application uses an existing catalyst. Additionally, Tsubone has a dual affinity for Transmutation. She can use this to transmute the aura she receives into "fuel".

This is kind of a spoiler (so ignore if you plan on reading further in the manga), but they don't cover it in the anime, but that really old lady, Linne Horsdoeuvre, was actually a close friend and ally of Netero.

Ging's point is that Cheadle is idolizing Netero too much, he is not actually this god like figure she pictures in his mind, like Ging says he was a "dirty old man". Netero was most interested in having fun, that's literally why he was so intent on creating a situation in which he could fight Meruem one on one. In that way, Ging and Pariston are the only ones who carry on his will, because they also are most interested in having fun.

I think that's too shallow. Pariston is creating a situation where someone has to be skilled enough to see through it like Ging. Ging also created a challenging path for Gon, not just out of pure fun but it has depth and meaning to it. And Netero was the same, if they would just focus on having fun, they'd be hedonistic and nowherre near that competent and skilled and wouldn't be able to go through hardships and he wouldn't even be Chairman, since you have to do A LOT of stuff that is not fun in such a position, which is not shown, but that's the case when you are in a position like that.

I like Pariston.
