I love Horimiya thursdays!! Also I am the total opposite of Wes and get quieter with people I don’t know at first and louder as the night goes on. Also also I sometimes talk to myself out loud too (I think it helps me think better idk)! Also I recommend to watch some type of recap before jumping to JJK. Because the story is really convoluted. And yeah you are missing out on the hype surrounding Chainsaw man! I mean on youtube side of things.

Polite vs Casual speech in Japanese is in large part grammatical also, so it doesn't translate well into languages where it's more about just differences in vocab/tone

You called them "uwumoji?!" 😭 my soul~~~ is dead now lol They are called "kaomoji" (　・`ω・´) (＃￣З￣) (＃ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ (￣^￣)｡ ﾟヽ(ﾟ｀Д´ﾟ)ﾉﾟ｡ (^ー^) Kao = face in Japanese Moji = character/letter/writing (emoji = emoticon or emotional icon character/letter/writing) Japan has them built into their keyboards on phones the way we have emojis (they also have emojis) but they get super elaborate sometimes lol
