I thought the directing was really cool with regards to how they solved the continuity. Showing us what happened during the shot of Yuji talking to Hakari and then showing us where we are, when the phone call happens, the butting of heads and then Yuji and Hakari stumble into the new setting with Kirara. Also the camera panning as Megumi told Kirara about Gojo was really cool too, didn't see that in any anime so far. Usually it's just a cut to the face of the other character or we see both characters in one frame.

Who do you think the last guy was guys? I think he might have either a vendetta against Sukuna or he desperately wants to join him, since he is ancient too and apparently has no remorse killing a lot of people and sorcerers.

On Steph's point I actually learnt this quite recently myself lol. Sorcerers know how to use their technique and the exact specifics of its mechanics just inscribed into their minds in birth. So they just need to practice it in a practical sense I guess.

Pretty sure it doesn't go down to the exact specifics. They just know what the technique is and how it fundamentally works. That's why geto never knew that using a semi grade 1 or higher in Uzumaki would extract its CT.

JJK always had good quality but this season feels even stronger to me. It’s not just crazy good animation in a cool fight. It’s all the little scenes that get extra animation that isn’t really necessary but adds so much life to the show. All the references to other anime/movies. The camera angles/movements. The way they structure the story/reveals. As Steph said, the artistic liberty they’re taking is very interesting (and appreciated). It’s really all the little things, on top of the already usually high quality of JJK, that elevate this season for me. I can’t even remember any boring moment so far; there’s always something happening that keeps me glued to the show. You can literally see and feel the amount of time and work that was put into this season.
