black shirts still have fascist associations if used as part of a political uniform, there was a recent meeting of a small time neo-nazi group in Leicester, and one of them dressed in all black, very clearly reminiscing of the SS or Mussolini's black shirts. But outside of political uniforms (which are illegal in the UK), no, black shirts aren't considered taboo.

Im not saying this to complain at all im just curious. Ive always wondered why you guys upload these vids to patreon with an extra bar below the show that youre watching, for the subtitles to be displayed, even though its on the screen above. Again, im just curious what the reason or thought process is??

Blackshirts originated in Italy and Mosley appropriated it for his followers, so it was more of a generic fascist thing than specific to Nazism (Germany had a similar theme originally with brownshirts, it was more just the idea of everyone wearing a uniform and looking regimented/professional) No one would look at a random dude wearing a black shirt nowadays and think anything about it, unless they had the full Hugo Boss SS-esque outfit which would raise flags anywhere. I'd probably think the same thing you guys did, that it's a young guy trying to look cool but also a bit put together (gives me nightclub vibes lol, ours had/have weird rules about wearing smart clothes/shoes, I don't know if that's the same in the US)
