I already have too much to say here so I won't clog up the entire page. I'll just say more on the e621 post when this gets posted there, where I (finally) figured out how to post collapsible comments. She's hates how Rookie shows love and commitment to Vanessa while she has nothing. Perhaps there is some significant phycology behind Mandy's bitterness that a lot of people wouldn't bother to understand 🤔 I don't encourage her behavior but maybe there's more to her story than her being "evil bitch who's only goal is to be evil"

Let us assume for a moment that Mandy has an acceptable excuse for being such a bitch. Assault and battery are still serious crimes, and she needs to be slammed up either in prison or a mental hospital for a long time. I don't think I'd accept any kind of redemption arc from her without one of those two happening, along with her admitting that what she did was wrong and to accept (even if retroactively) the sentence that the law places upon her. Having said that, she's a quite engrossing villainess!
