(Sorry to everyone in advance for my rambling, I go on a lot when I'm this invested in something and it's not my fault e6 can create collapsible subsections and other sites can't.) I've said a number of times that the facial expressions have kinda jarred me when I get the emails notifying me a new page is posted, as in they get "whoa o_o" kinds of reactions out of me, mainly Mandy's but Vanessa being upset with Alex had that effect too. And lots of us, me included, have said that Vanessa's eyes alone have spoken volumes about her, no matter her state... But that all had nothing on this. Her face in this page and the last few she's been in will stick with me for a long time. You've broken your limits in many ways with this comic, and there's been so much emotion in single images, let alone multi-panel pieces. Even when it's got words now, I can only imagine the magnitude of the "WTF?" going through Mandy's head (and gotta be honest, just the WIP made me laugh, let alone the final). Especially if she has combat experience, as she's kind of implied, and now this is happening that isn't supposed to be possible. I would love to see Mandy try her mind reading on Vanessa now to get some answers or read her moves to fight better...and it ends up that what Mandy sees in Vanessa's head, if she ever slept again, she'd relive what's coming nightly and sleep with the lights on for the rest of her life. That thing I said about Vanessa having boss energy? Forget it, she has final boss energy. Go, Vanessa. ...And I mentioned before that Vanessa better be quick in case Mandy knows Teleport, but even though Vanessa is making her own rules, she may also want to be careful about testing the "even if it costs me my life" vow because Gardes can also learn Destiny Bond, come to think of it.
