Well, it is expected she be taken into custody. Hopefully, if we do see her redemption arc, she isn't struggling too much to find happiness following whatever sentence she serves. I suppose thats what I find saddest about Mandy's circumstance; after such hardship and pain, she has quite a ways longer to go. Not just her life in prison (or hopefully, psychiatric care in a ward or institution), but the reality that she will have to struggle more in order to so much find housing and employment once she's a free woman. Part of me hopes that Vanessa holds Valerie accountable for instigating Mandy, and Alex and Valerie mend things with Mandy with time, be it before she is sentenced, during her time, or after. Whatever happens, I hope Gamma will be so kind as to give Mandy a proper redemption arc with someone who loves and cares for her, and not put her through so much only to strip her of happily ever after. Edit: I reeeally hope she doesnt end up in prison; her life has practically already been one giant prison, running from this shadow organization, giving up all she cared about to keep them safe, only to have that sacrifice spat on by Valerie, however unknowingly.

If Vanessa, who judged Mandy for her entire life after having been so severely wronged and decided to show mercy and even optimism that she couldn't just be a kind, strong, and loving person, she could be that sort of person *again* even if the Mandy she used to be is truly gone, I continue to choose to be an optimist about her, too. That journey isn't going to be easy or short and maybe will take the rest of her life, but it's worth taking. And from the look of things, while Alex may still not know what all just happened, he also agrees with Vanessa's decision to give her not just mercy but the truth that it's up to her to do better. See you later, Mandy. Maybe. Even if it takes years to see if that light back in your eyes isn't just from the sun. And stand tall, Queen and King. Still on track for the Super Golden Ending.
