Now, they deal with the aftermath of a week of risking their relationship, their futures, and their lives. The danger has passed, and they're still taking in how they feel about everything, including that they *know* they did the right thing with Mandy but they want to know it'll work out for the best for everyone in the long run, and "the long run" is going to be a long time. But just like before, they have what they need most: Each other. Looks like Vanessa's gem is already healing, the smaller scratches look gone and some of its color is coming back. Hopefully she can find some stress relief and a sense of security in training her powers now that she has them. Nice to see them able to go home, eat a borgar or peemza or whatever the heck they want, and just say, "Enough, we wanna feel at home together." And speaking of "the long run," maybe it's time they...y'knooow...brought up their own "long run"~ :3c Obligatory jokes about big juicy meat and warm soft buns, but Gamma doesn't do food often, but when they do, it looks *absolutely scrumptious*. If one of the weekly exclusives was just a spread of food, I would not be the least bit disappointed. For those who say Mandy should be in a mental institution, I agree, but who knows how prison works in this world, maybe in her circumstances she can see a therapist while doing her time or something. Besides, as bad as prison is, I have a hard time seeing it possibly being worse than what she went through during her times with "Them," and if she's still got any of her resilience left, I can see her toughing it out. That and, if she really is determined to be a better person, I would find it somewhat cathartic if some other prisoners much less interested in atonement messed with her and she made them regret that decision. And, since I feel like if I don't say it, someone else will, I'll get both old memes out of the way: Psychic pink kitty CAN has cheezburger, and yet another furry hottie who can't enjoy her sandwich.

also I think the punishment for aggravated assault (felony) is about 1-5 years in prison (can be reduced with plea deals or/and good behavior). And also, depending on which 'world' country we're talking about, the conditions at the prison might not be so bad as it may seem at first.

Borger~ It sucks to see Mandy going to Prison, but deep down, I know its the best outcome for her. Time to reflect, and analyze the person she was becoming. Hopefully, she gets plea dealed down, and paroled with good behavior before shes in her twilight years. She deserves to experience the best in life, before its too late to do so. I know her road is a long one to walk, but I hope she can walk a good deal of it while serving her sentence. Make amends with Dyl and Val, and in doing so, open doors for her in the future where she can find a job, a home, and love. In a perfect world, Mandy uses her one phone call to get in touch with Dyl and Val, and over the course of her sentence, make amends and reminiscence on who she used to be, and see how hard shes trying to become that person again. An effort seen by prison officials, leading to her early release. And when that release comes, Dyl and Val are offering her a place on their couch until she gets back on her feet. A process they help her with, looking for employment and apartments of her own. And at that place of employment, she finds love. From there, she finally gets her own partner story: One that doesnt end with her throwing away all she cares about. Finally, her flower begins to blossom once again. But of course, that is a story for another time. Hopefully a time soon, but a time nonetheless. For now, this is Alex and Vanessa's story; a story of seemingly insurmountable odds, that they came out changed. They truly deserve one another.
