Many of us suspected it, but now that we finally see it for ourselves...the question is unexpectedly, but gloriously, answered, not just with more Eevee Vanessa but specifically saber-fencing Vanessa 8D And wow, I know I said a lot during the comic that she has particularly gorgeous and expressive eyes, but even as an Eevee...<3 As much as I love all the Partners, seeing any of the cast of Stern Partner in particular again gives me an instant hit of happiness hormones. But now I wonder, even though love absolutely guided his hand on that fateful day, might we also see a "15 years ago" with Alex and his pro baseball player dad that would explain how he was able to chuck Vanessa's shirt so accurately and so far~?

so she used to be a fencer, fascinating... it explains the shape of the sword she summoned, i always thought it was peculiar. (can she compare to the one and only Silver Chariot?) meanwhile, that's Roy behind her. maybe he used to be one too, and that's how he met Finn? did he know Vanessa very much at all? some questions have been answered but more have been left open!
