Here's the full length reaction to Zack Snyder's Justice League! It was so fun to see all of these characters finally come together! This video was a MONSTER to export because of the length, so the structure of the video is a little different. The timer is going the whole time, and I included a bit of footage at the beginning of each part to help you sync up. Enjoy!

Jeez. This took me two days to watch. Sometimes, Addie, I feel horrible you're having to sit through the DCEU. I can't even watch these reactions because it feels like abuse.

sash830

I also recommend the DC Animated Movies. The are often better than the DC Films. not all but a lot of them are

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 I've only seen bits and pieces of this one. I have heard that this 'Snyder Cut' is better than the theatrical version. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction. Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). In case you're wondering why it's in 4:3, then director Zack Snyder intended to shoot JL for the IMAX aspect ratio of 1.43:1, after shooting parts of BvS with 15/70mm IMAX film cameras. Because Snyder shot the movie in FULL 4-perf Super 35 format, the 4:3 aspect ratio shows MORE picture than the theatrical release that was in 1.85:1. BTW the chapters of the Snyder Cut are as follows. I STRONGLY recommend editing the YT cut into either two or three videos, like you would for a mini-series.: Opening Credits Sequence (9 min), 0:00 - 9:00 Part 1: "Don't Count On It Batman" (28 min), 9:00 - 37:00 Part 2: "The Age of Heroes" (32min), 37:00 - 1:09:00 Part 3: "Beloved Mother, Beloved Son" (42 min) 1:09:00 - 1:51:30 Part 4: "Change Machine" (30 min), 1:51:30 - 2:21:55 Part 5: "All The King's Horses" (32 min), 2:21:55 - 2:53:15 Part 6: "Something Darker" (41 min), 2:53:15 - 3:34:00 Epilogue: "A Father Twice Over" (19 min) 3:34:00 - 3:53:20

Yes! This is gonna be a great Monday! The most bad ass part is flash saving literally the world, as the mother boxes explode it literally obliterated everything and he was the last human alive.

Rich

I'm not sure if you're continuing your DCEU journey. But if you do I think Aquaman and Shazam are a lot of fun.

JokesterHollywood

Oh my! what an exciting Monday it is! I think this movie in particular is just so bad ass and fun to watch compared to most anything the MCU has done besides the last avengers movie in comparison.

Byrd N. Hand

I have to believe she's not going to react to all of them. From what I've seen, "Shazam!" and "THE Suicide Squad" (they *really* couldn't give it another title to better differentiate it from the 2016 movie?? 🤷‍♂️) are the only other ones that are genuinely well-regarded. She might also throw in "Aquaman" and/or "Birds of Prey." Hopefully, that's it, though. 🤞🤞

I mean, can stomach all the Harley Quinn movies the DCEU is quite an undertaking.

Julian San

I still remember the other week when Addie decried watching movies that were three hours long 🤣

sash830

I like most of the movies live adaption and animated. i can find something to enjoy in the most. (but we don't talk about Batman & Robin). I hope Addie will watch Batman Mask of the Phantasm

Addie Counts

Oh I still hate when movies are three hours long hahaha. I had to break this up into two parts and mentally treat it like it was two movies!

Rey

Ooh man 4 hours is just way too much movie lol

Patrick Blondin

4 hours!!! I’ll be downloading this in no time to share your reaction ASAP! 😂❤️

Connor Ellis

That whole last 20 minutes is kinda pointless. Setting up future plots that'll never happens because the DCEU is dead and Snyder continuing his Injustice dreamworld.

I'll openly admit that I didn't mind the Justice League movie, was it was presented in the theaters. Until I saw this one. I was so mad at how Cyborg's story got utterly eviscerated in the Josstice League version. Also, how the theatrical really made Flash into a chump irked me as well. My two favorite characters really got kicked to the curb by Joss.

Joe Mallard

This movie is 4 hours for absolutely no reason, it could've been shortened by like 45 min and would've gotten the point across.

Doug

I like this one, probably put it 7.5 / 10. 🙂 On the plus side it has cool moments for every character and the cast seems to have some fun now and then in the dialog with each other. The special effects are also top notch. On the downside, it's just too long! By around the second and a half hour my interest was wandering and by hour four I was kind of only half paying attention to what was happening. And then you add in a 20 minute epilog that sets up hoped for movies that are never going to happen, the whole thing should have been three hours at most. (For reference I never saw the theatrical release, but it was 2 hours and I can definitely see how cutting literally half of this film out could leave it a jumbled mess in that version. I think 3 hours would have been the sweet spot here.) So good movie, I put it somewhere in the middle of the pack of the DCEU films. Not the worst, not the best, but worth watching once at least.

David Lucas

Such a good movie and I’m glad to have watched it again with your commentary. Especially your “Superman is still alive” enthusiasm through most of the movie. Also enjoyed parts of the movie you picked up on that I completely missed. Like the pregnancy test Lois had in her night stand (I know it was almost the whole shot, still missed it lol). To add to your theory, take a look at what Lois and Martha are binging into the house at 3:38:20. Right before Bruce tells Clark he bought the bank. There are quite a few more movies in the DC universe that are worth watching, so I hope you continue your DC reactions.

Patrick Blondin

I do encourage you to watch “Josstice League” (Justice League by Joss Wheaton) from 2016 at a later point. It has its moments but the Snyder cut is the superior version.

Billy Dancel

Let's go back to the start of your Superman adventures... 1978 Superman: The Movie Jimmy Olsen, the photographer for the Daily Planet is played by Marc McClure 2021 Justice League Officer Jerry, the Cop that Lois gave coffee to near Superman's memorial is played by ................. Marc McClure 2024.... Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story I truly hope you watch this at some point. I didn't even watch the trailer for this but I started to break down from others talking about it.

Mr. Writhms

After Justice League, the DCEU movies are pretty much stand-alone. It really doesn’t matter what order you watch them in at this point. These are the BEST of the rest. Aquaman (2018) Shazam! (2019) Birds of Prey (2020) THE Suicide Squad (2021) The Flash (2023) And I think you would get a kick out of “The Flash” with its team-up of unexpected heroes.

Steve

Marc McClure also made an appearance in Smallville.

This was my first time watching this movie, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The one complaint I had was how they had Ezra Miller play Barry Allen. They made him too goofy. I felt like they were going for Peter Parker, but over shot by a few dozen miles. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Andy Munden

I've seen a theory (?), or confirmation (?), not sure which one, that when Clark saw Lois after he came back he did scan her and realised she was pregnant and that's what snapped him out of his altered mind-state.

Bryan Dempsey

It took me 3 separate sessions to get through this 4 hour block, but it was worth it. I do think this is a good movie. If the DCEU had been allowed to grow a little more naturally some of the set up that happened here could have been their own movies. Like Cyborg and Aquaman. After this we see some of the characters allowed to breathe in their own solo outings. I was surprised to hear you say you’re stopping your DCEU journey here. There are plenty of good movies still to come. Aquaman is after this in release order and made over a billion in box office revenue. If you’re unfamiliar with the characters you’ll get more out of it than a “fan” I assure you. I don’t know who these “people” are who told you to stop here, but I want you to continue. Heck, I joined your Patreon because you were watching the DCEU. Absent that, I will quietly move on.
