Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Field of Dreams (1989). I own the 2-Disc Anniversary Edition of this movie on DVD in both Widescreen (1.85:1) & Full Screen (1.33:1) formats and I'm watching it tonight. Always remember, If you build it, he will come.

And I'll recommend "Silverado" (one of the better Westerns from the '80s), "No Way Out" (one of the best twist endings ever), and "Bull Durham" (the first of his 3 baseball movies).

Alex Tan

I 100% second Silverado (1985) & Bull Durham (1988). In fact, I was just about to recommend those to Addie, alongside No Way Out (1987). Looks like you beat me to it.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 RIP always to James Earl Jones & Ray Liotta! I love this movie so much. It's easily one of my all-time favorite Kevin Costner films, and one of my favorite sports movies. For more Kevin Costner and baseball, I very highly recommend the 1988 "Bull Durham". Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction(with a few tissues on hand for the ending)later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Man, This movie never made me tear up until I saw James Earl Jones in this after his passing.

Alex Tan

Byrd N. Hand & I just recommended Bull Durham (1988) as well. #BullDurhamForAddieCounts I've also added several Kevin Costner movie suggestions in one of my comments.

Alex Gorell

Easily in my top 5 of movies.

the field still exists and once a year a major league game is played here

Cliff Adams

"Ease his pain." "No, Ray, it was you." Dad came, and Ray's pain was eased. Two different he references.

BTW, You've also seen James Earl Jones in The Hunt for Red October (1990), and as the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars trilogy and the voice of Mufasa in The Lion King (1994). And James Horner also did the music for The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and the fanfare for the early 90s Universal Pictures logo, which made it's debut in Back to the Future: Part III (1990).

Billy Dancel

Ever since we lost James Earl Jones (Ray Liotta in 2022) this movie hits the heart so much harder. https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxvD9VJZvBLA3HzZ3sYpwCzHqhSfFEvvhZ?si=d4l_gNsI1Zm6zSji A very special event

The Jimmy Stewart movie was "Harvey" - and you need to watch it! :)

It's an all timer. U did pretty good holding it together. Most people let the tears roll at the end.

Randolph Tirazona

So Addie?!? Do you like Kevin Costner?!? You'll like Dances with Wolves too!

JaxonDanger12

Sports and Kevin Costner is always great. Tin Cup and Bull Durham are must watch!

Alex Tan

Speaking of Jimmy Stewart, I also suggest ALL of his Alfred Hitchcock movies including Rope (1948), Rear Window (1954), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), and Vertigo (1958). #MoreJamesStewartForAddieCounts
