Ollo, Addie. Happy Wednesday. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Megamind (2010). This is one of my favorite DreamWorks Animation movies. I get a VERY GOOD laugh from Hal Stewart's dazed expression after getting whacked by the Forget-me stick. This movie is how I discovered "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 This is another great animated movie that you picked out. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

OK, it's probably time to be asked: When are you finally going to react to "Kung Fu Panda 4"?

Here are some other Brad Pitt movies for you: A River Runs Through It (1992), True Romance (1993), Interview with the Vampire (1994), Legends of the Fall (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), Sleepers (1996), The Devil's Own (1997), Seven Years in Tibet (1997), Meet Joe Black (1998), The Mexican (2001), Spy Game (2001), Ad Astra (2019) and the upcoming F1 (2025). #MoreBradPittForAddieCounts

Nice! Excellent reaction to Megamind, one of my all-time favorites. 😃 I don't think many people realize it was Brad Pitt voicing Metro Man. It doesn't sound like his normal voice. If you want to see some more hilarious animations, how about these… The Incredibles (2004) Monsters, Inc. (2001) Madagascar (2005) Penguins of Madagascar (2014) Zootopia (2016) Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) Rango (2011)

On a quick tangent, starting up the movie on Max I noticed it has a trailer for Flow. I highly, HIGHLY recommend watching that one at some point, it's fantastic! ... (ok back to watching Megamind. 🙂)

Megamind is great, one of my favorite animated superhero movies. 😄 The funny thing is, not that it did badly, but it came out the same year (2010) as Despicable Me which of course shares a lot of DNA with this one (i.e. they're both funny animated movies with big name casts about supervillains eventually becoming good guys.) I really do think Despicable Me stole some of Megamind's thunder and it's why they never made a Megamind 2 for theaters. (They did eventually make a direct to video sequel in 2024 called Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate, but it took 14 years and obviously isn't anything close to the blockbuster franchise Despicable Me ended up being!)

Very cool soundtrack to this movie! You've spoiled us this week with animated movies and I appreciate you!

- Space Dad was an impersonation of Marlon Brando, who played Superman's Kryptonian father in the 1978 original "Superman". - Hal Stuart is a combination of the names Hal Jordan and John Stuart, which were the 2 original Green Lanterns from DC Comics

Next up in Addie's alternative superhero viewing: "Unbreakable" (2000) "Todd McFarlane's Spawn" (1997) the HBO animated one, not the live-action one "Hellboy" (2004 version) "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" (2006) "Mystery Men" (1999) "Brightburn" (2019)

Don't forget "Bullet Train." I loved Brad Pitt's character in that movie. And "World War Z". Plus "Moneyball" and "Fight Club," but I'm pretty sure Addie did "Fight Club" already. Edit: Also "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" Edit 2: Also, whenever I hear the beginning of that one AC/DC song, I always have to add in the brain bot sounds.
