The next time you are out in public, perhaps at the supermarket checkout line, try shouting, "SHAZAM!!!". You can't help but smile ;p

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 This is a fun movie. Glad that you enjoyed this one. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Shazam! (2019) because my dad & I did when we saw it in IMAX, when it first came out in theaters. It's got a VERY GOOD tonal blend where the hero stuff is light-hearted and the villain stuff is very dark. Now THAT'S a good balance.

This was a fun movie. My daughter and I saw it in the theater when she came to visit. We used to watch Zachary Levi in the t.v. show "Chuck" which is also a lot of fun. This is just a really good memory for me, because my daughter and I had so much fun watching it together.

The song during the end credits was the Ramones covering Tom Waits' "I Don't Wanna Grow Up". Good cover but I love the Waits version. Another notable cover that you may appreciate would be by Scarlett Johansson, who released a whole album of Waits covers. It wasn't a terrible album but people dumped on it pretty hard. For a really good ScarJo album I'd recommend the one she did with Pete Yorn, "Break Up". For really good Ramones or Tom Waits, well, they are all really good heh.

Love this movie so much. Unfortunately the sequel struggles to regain the charm of the original, but regardless, I can watch this one over and over and smile every time.

A couple of quick P.S. comments - That piano keyboard scene in the toy store is most definitely a call out to Big like Addie said. 👍 - The caterpillar in the end credits scene is visible in some of the early shots in a glass case in the wizard’s cave, and after the fight where the deadly sins break loose the case is broken and empty. Also just for context, yes, that caterpillar is actually an evil mastermind nemesis of Shazam’s in the comics (yeah, he’s one of the weirder supervillains there!) Presumably they were setting up for him to reappear in the sequel but I don’t think he does? 🤷‍♂️ (Maybe the sequel would have been better with a genius mentalist caterpillar as the bad guy! 😄) - Chuck was a fun TV show, worth checking out if you haven’t seen it. 🙂

Amazing reaction, loved this movie!

I think the roundabout reason the door killed the lady scientist is because she's played by the directors wife and i think he kills her in every movie he's made so far. I could be wrong but it's a neat Easter egg if true.
