Loving these reactions! Only gets better and better! And yay to Keely and Tart breaking up 🥳🥳

The Dude Abides

The episode where you find out how petty Rupert is. Also if I was famous I’d absolutely be like Roy on the red carpet.

"Being accountable matters." I love that line, I love that delivery, I love EVERYTHING about Keeley's epiphany. What Jamie did was wrong in-and-of-itself, but the fact that he doesn't even understand what about it was wrong is just despicable. Rupert definitely had an angle for donating that money: He effectively stole Rebecca's win tonight. She can't feel pride in her accomplishment for raising so much money, because there will always be the thought that Rupert is the one who did it. This will reinforce all of her self-doubt and regret and second-guessing every decision she's ever made. Plus, it buys him the public love and adoration that he thrives in, while Rebecca feels more and more isolated as somebody who hates him (Which is why it's so meaningful when Ted says that he can also tell that Rupert is a real piece of shit). Bex, the other woman bidding on Jamie and who left with Rupert at the end, is played by Keeley Hazell. She is a real-life model who is one of the inspirations/basis for Keeley Jones in the show. She actually came to work as a writer on the show later in its run.

The girl Bex, who was bidding on Jamie against Keeley, and eventually left with Rupert is played by Keeley Hazell, who is the real person Keeley Jones is based on. She actually has even written for the show.
